Vaibhav Fellowship for NRI: Department of Science and Technology has introduced the Vaibhav Fellowship for the Indian Diaspora. Through the program, the government aims to provide a better Higher Educational and Scientific Institution research system. Vaibhav Fellowship for NRI

The fellowship program will be conducted online and no offline application will be considered for it. In case, any applicants submit it offline then it will be rejected. Eligibility for Vaibhav Fellowship for NRI

Here we are providing the eligibility set by the selection committee. Only those candidates will be considered for the program who will fulfil all eligibilities mentioned below:

Eligibility for Scientists:

• Interested applicants must be NRI, PIO and OCI to apply for the fellowship. They must be living abroad currently.
• Candidates must have completed PhD/ M.D/M.S. program from a recognized university/ institute.
• Interested candidates should be a researcher who should be engaged in an overseas academic / research / industrial organization provided under the top 500 QS World University Ranking.
• Aspirants must have a plan on pursuing any research work for at least 1 month to 2 months in a year.
• Interested users must submit their proposals only once a year.

Eligibility for Institutions:

• Any Higher Educational institution that is ranked in the Top 200 in NIRF.
