He was last associated with the Indian National Congress or INC in 2017 but as they faced a devastating loss in Uttar Pradesh, they headed back to him for assistance.

Losing their long-lived support in Punjab was highly heartbreaking for the party and hence they approached Kishor once again to get a better hold of their political position in the country before 2024. He recently presented his game plan on hiking the support for the party by utilizing the power of Social Media and building a huge support system for INC which they clearly lack, majorly lagging behind the Bhartiya Janata Party. Later in 2015, CAG, or Citizens for Accountable Governance transformed into the Indian Political Action Committee, popularly abbreviated as I-PAC. He simultaneously assisted Nitish Kumar, suggesting to him the cycles carrying slogans, “Nitish ke Nishchay: Vikas ki guarantee”. They devised the slogan, “Phir Ek Baar, Nitish Kumar” on his behalf and conducted a survey by visiting 4,000 villages in Bihar and figuring out their common problems. Nitish Kumar won his third term and Kishore joined him in 2018 as the program advisor and implementer for the CM. This role was short-lived.

In 2017, he connected with Captain Amrinder Singh whom he assisted in proper campaigning in Punjab. The captain became a common name in every household as Kishor came with trendy slogans, “Coffee with Captain” and “Punjab Da Captain”. It is well known that Amrinder Singh triumphed with 77 seats out of a total of 117. He was appreciated largely and publically on Twitter by the CM of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh for his job.

Simultaneously in 2017, he received his major blow when in spite of his consultancy, Congress failed to leave an impact and only won 7 seats while BJP and allies bagged more than 300. However, he moved past it and joined YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy which led the latter to a victory in 2019. It was through the consultation of Kishor that Reddy accomplished the 3,648 km long padayatra post his father’s death. The campaigns of the YSR Congress such as, “Anna Pilupu” and “Samara Sankharavam” were all carried out under the direction of Prashant Kishor.

Other than these, Prashant Kishor was the man behind the successful campaigning of Arvind Kejriwal in 2020 for Delhi. Kejriwal was on a declining note and it was then that signing Kishor for political consultancy revived him. This surely was Kishor’s second major victory. Later in 2021, he led Mamta Banerjee’s TMC in West Bengal and MK Stalin’s Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in Tamil Nadu to a political win. However, TMC was not able to get a win in Goa, his constant brainstormed political strategies were rather appreciated.

It was the same year that he decided to leave consultancy as a profession and move on to try other things. Now that Indian National Congress is unable to live upto its reputation and legacy, Kishor has been approached by the INC. The allegations and rumors of him joining the party have been declined but there is obvious speculation that he will be consulted professionally by them. If he leads Congress to a win, Kishor will once again prove his unmatchable politically strategic mind.
