Scientist B Exam DRDO RAC Pattern 2023
As we have mentioned earlier, the authority will conduct two papers in the Scientist B Exam DRDO 2023. Therefore, the pattern of both these examinations will vary accordingly. The details concerning the pattern of the Common Research Aptitude Test and Subject Specific Examination for the advertised Scientist B Designations at DRDO RAC are given separately below.
Common Research Aptitude Test
The CRAT will be conducted by the authority to check the research and analytical abilities of the applicants. In this examination, the applicants will have to attempt 150 MCQs from 7 distinct topics for a total of 300 marks. Moreover, for each wrong answer in this exam, the authority will deduct 0.25 from the total score of the applicants as a penalty.
Subject Specific Examination
In the SSE, the applicants will be given questions from the subject they have chosen for 300 marks. The number of questions in this examination can be 100 to 150 as per the discretion of the authority. The duration of this examination will be 2 hours, its syllabus will be similar to that of the Civil Services Main Examination in the concerned disciplines. For each wrong answer in this exam, there will be a deduction of 25% of the total marks assigned to that question.
