The application form has been invited for all the candidates of Uttarakhand belonging to minority classes such as Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jainism and Parsi communities by the Uttarakhand minority welfare department. Those candidates who were enrolled in schools of Uttarakhand from class 1st to 10th registered under State government or recognised board application form needs to be submitted before date on NSP.

Completely filled application forms will be sent to the institution and attested by the district Minority Welfare Office before being submitted online. All the offline applications submitted directly to the office will be cancelled. Responsibility for those applications will be for the parents or the head of the Institution.

Uttarakhand Pre Matric Scholarship Application- Eligibility

• The candidate must have a domicile in Uttarakhand.
• Candidate must belong to Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhism, and Jainism
• Candidate’s parent’s income should not be more than twice below the poverty line.
• The candidate must have passed the previous class.
• State Government must recognize institutions of education.
• Candidates who are taking any scholarship will not be eligible for this scheme.

Value Of Scholarship

When Uttarakhand pre-matric scholarship is provided to candidates, then the following value of the scholarship is included as a scholarship amount:-

3. Reimbursing the compulsory as in non-transferable fees
4. Study tour charges

UK Pre Matric Scholarship Application- Selection Of Candidate

All The eligible schedule caste, minority, economic backward class, OBC and ST candidates will be provided scholarships according to the condition of eligibility. A candidate who belongs to Uttarakhand but is studying in some other state will be given a scholarship by the Govt of Uttarakhand. For this, they have to submit their application form to the nodal authorities in that state only.

Form fee exemption or other concessions will also be treated as a matter of contest they were studying in their domicile state. Selection of candidates is, however, done keeping in mind the limitation of funds regarding the scheme.

How To Apply For Uttarakhand Pre-Matric Scholarship Application?

Scholarship applications will be submitted online at the National Scholarship Portal within the service of NSP. For filing applications, the following documents need to be produced by authorities. A list of the document are:-

1. One copy of the application for scholarship in a prescribed format
2. A separate application form may be prescribed by the concerned state government for the renewal of the scholarship
3. one copy of a photograph in which the signature of the candidate photograph should be passport size (this condition is for fresh scholarship)
4. One duly attested copy of all certificate, diploma and degree of examination which has been passed
5. Original income certificate issued by an authorised revenue officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar
6. A scholarship acknowledgement receipt of the previous year needs to be duly attested by the Institution head. If the applicant was interested in a scholarship under the scheme in the preceding year.

An application which is filled in all manner needs to be submitted to the head of the Institution where the student is attending on last attended its address to the officer specified for this purpose by Uttarakhand Government.  It is important because, under the instructions, it can be issued by them from time to time.

Renewal And Duration Of Scholarship

Scholarship, once started, will be completed at the course completion time, subject to good regularity in attendance and conduct. It can be renewed every year during the course. Suppose a candidate cannot take the annual examination due to some medical or other unforeseeable event. In that case, the scholarship will be provided to them for the next academic year only on submission of a medical certificate for sufficient proof of the problem to the head of the institution from where the scholarship has been applied.

Suppose a student is promoted to the next higher class even though the candidate has not cleared the previous class. In that case, he must take the examination for junior class again after some time to be entitled to a scholarship.

7. Educational details of the candidate will be asked such as from where the last education has been taken, the name and registration, affiliation, accreditation number of Institution will be asked
8. After filling in all the details again press next
