Higher Pay Offered in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
The caseworkers in the states of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are paid significantly higher than the ones in the other states of the country. This is primarily due to the state’s policies offering them pay under the Real Living Wage of the United Kingdom. The caseworkers are currently paid £10.9 an hour. With an increase in the RLW, the NHS Pay increase for these workers will go to £12 an hour.
