Board exam to be held twice a year
The Board Exam Twice a Year policy in the new NCF promises to bring a substantial change in the education system. The different education boards in the country are planning the management for the conduct of the board exam twice a year. From what we know so far, two board exams will contain both objective and subjective questions.
However, with this inclusion in the new NCF, one question that must be lingering in the minds of the students is When will the two board exams take place in the year? In the normal scenario, all the boards conduct the board exams nearbout the dates prescribed by the CBSE.
But with this new policy in the curriculum, the boards can decide on the exam date as per the preparation level of the students of their respective schools. This is also in accordance with the on-demand exam which was listed in the National Education Policy 2020.
The board exam twice a year in this new NCF will also be vastly different from the term-wise exams. These two exams will instead be conducted separately when the students feel confident to appear for them as per the Ministry of Education.
