The Karnataka CM Shri B.S Yediyurappa on Monday launched an online crash course for all those students who are preparing for their competitive examinations namely NEET, KCET, and JEE. Students who had registered in the portal may access such a facility by just paying a minimal amount of less than Rs 40/-. Such kind of initiative will help students amidst challenges they faced due to COVID.

What is GetCetGo?

The Karnataka Government has launched a mobile app, a web-based portal for students so that they can prepare for their competitive examination while being at home. Through this application, students will get comprehensive study material in the form of practice papers, chapter-wise tests, mock tests, learning through videos, and others.

As we know last year due to lockdown in the country each and every section of society and students are no exception. and students who are preparing for the examination totally rely on such a web-based platform that will offer them quality content regarding their examination by keeping such challenges of students in mind the state government of Karnataka released an app named Getcetgo.

Objective of GetCetGo

The main objective of this app is to offer the best study material to those aspirants who are preparing for NEET and CET. The students can get the study material from the portal by login in there with a registered login name and password. An app is also available online for students. The Getcetgo is available on the google play store and it can be downloaded on android phones free of cost. The app is launched by the Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa and it is developed by the Karnataka Examination Board in collaboration with Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation (KEONICS). Now after the launch of this app it will be easy for the students to get free coaching of NEET and CET. They can access the online coaching class through this app.

How can you Take Free Online Coaching on GetCETgo?

As Getcetgo is an online platform for the preparation of CET and NEET so the students will have to log in on the website. To log in on the website to succeed in the study material available there the aspirants will need a login id and password. Unlike other apps here the students are not supposed to register online on the app.

This official study portal launched by Karnataka Government will be logged in through a user id and password forwarded by the department to the mobile number of the students who have filled the application form of NEET and CET. To access the portal the students will have to enter the user name which is also the roll number for CET and NEET. It is a must for the students to connect their PC or laptop to the internet to use the portal for study purposes.

To use the app the students will have to download two applications available on the play store, GetCETGo App, and the Edureader App.

After downloading both apps the learners will have to permit them to access their mobile phones. Both apps will not be able to perform well until you allow all the permission that is required. Now you need to enter your user name and password to get the study material from the app. Here also you will have to use the same username and password which you have received on your registered mobile number.

The app has everything that you need for your preparation for NEET and CET like a synopsis, questions relayed to study material, practice questions for homework, and mock tests. All the study material will be available online topic-wise. You can download the study material easily if you have a wi-fi connection and internet access. According to the Getcetgo website, the downloading speed of the study material is comparatively very fast. Here the typical time to download any of the content packets will be 30 seconds on a fast wifi network and 3 to 4 minutes on a slow data card. After downloading the content you can access it easily in offline mode too.

Step 6: Now click on the login box and enter the CET ID and password to log in.
