Due to many obvious reasons, the students are not much aware of the agriculture courses and they don’t know much about how to get admission to this course. To get admission in this course the students will have to take the entrance test organized by different universities. National Level Exams | ICAR AIEEA 2024
As shown by name this exam is conducted on the national level and students can apply online to participate in this entrance examination. The ICAR AIEEEA exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the national level. Based on the marks scored by the students in this exam they get admission to UG and PG courses in Agriculture.
NTA releases the online form for the applicants and interested and eligible applicants can fill out the online application and submit it along with the application fee. After this NTA release the Admit Card for the applicants so that they can take the examination. Almost every big city in all the states has an exam centre where ICAR AIEEA participants can take the entrance exam.
Generally, the authorities release the application form for the admission seekers in the agriculture course in May month. The entrance exam is conducted in June. Based on the applicants’ performance the officials release a merit list and cut-off marks. Those students who have scored more or equal marks to the cut-off marks get admission in B. Sc Agriculture.

Andhra Pradesh
AP EAMCET 2024
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada conducts this state-level examination to offer admission to aspirants in Engineering and Agriculture courses. To take this examination it is a must for the participants to belong either to Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. The exam is known as AP EAMCET. Usually, the exam is conducted in April month but this year due to COVID 19 it has been postponed till June.
The authorities release an online application form for interested and eligible participants. The students will have to fill out and submit the form online along with the application fee. The authorities release the admit card online before the entrance exam date and applicants will have to download it from the official website of the university. On the release of the result of the entrance exam, the students get admission in UG and PG courses of Agriculture in Agriculture.
Bihar
BCECE 2024
Bihar state organizes the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination popular as BCECE to offer admission to students in various UG courses. The students must have done 12th to participate in BCECE. As it is a state-level examination only so students from Bihar can participate in this examination. Based on the candidates’ scores in BCECE they get admission in various undergraduate courses including B. Sc Agriculture and Engineering. The last date to fill out the application form to take this exam usually falls in mid-June and application forms come out in March every year. The syllabus for this state-level exam is based on the class 12th and students will have to face the MCQs in the exam.
Jharkhand
JCECE 2024
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board conducts the competitive exam for the students to offer them admission in the Agriculture course at the undergraduate level. JCECE is a state-level exam and it is conducted for the students of Jharkhand only. Along with agriculture, the students can get admission to various other UG courses including engineering. The application form to take this entrance test comes out in April month usually. Generally, the exam is conducted in the third week of June in the CBT form.
Karnataka
KCET 2024
The KCET exam is organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority. The state-level exam is conducted to offer admission to students in different UG courses. If you have done 10+2 either with PCM or PCB then you can fill out and submit the KCET form to get admission to agriculture courses. Generally, the Karnataka Examination Authority releases the admission form in February and conducts the exam in April month. Based on the student’s score in this exam they will get admission to the top colleges of the state.
Rajasthan
JET Agriculture
JET Agriculture is known as the Joint Entrance Exam which is conducted by Agriculture University, Kota. It is a state-level joint entrance examination. Through this exam, aspirants will get admission into different agriculture colleges in Rajasthan. The examination is generally conducted in April or May and those aspirants who clear the exam get admission to B.Sc (Agriculture, forestry and Horticulture)
Kerala
KEAM 2024
The Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical (KEAM) entrance test 2024 is a state-level entrance exam. Students can get admission in Engineering, Agriculture, Architecture, Pharmacy, Medical & Allied courses offered by the universities and colleges in the state of Kerala. This state-level examination is organized by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala. Students can get admission to the aforementioned courses after clearing this entrance test. Madhya Pradesh
MP PAT 2024
MP Professional Examination Board, Bhopal conducts the MP PAT examination to offer admission to the undergraduate courses of Agriculture. Aspirants who want to get admission in B.Sc (Agriculture) and B.Tech (Agriculture) can participate in this exam. The exam is also known as the Madhya Pradesh Pre-Agriculture Test. Orissa
OUAT 2024
Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) conducts the state-level examination to offer admission to applicants in various UG, PG and Doctoral courses. OUAT is a state-level examination and students from Orissa can participate in this examination only. After clearing the exam the students will find plenty of options related to agriculture to complete their studies in them. The application form to participate in this state-level exam came out in Feb and it is expected that the authorities will examine it in July month.
Telangana
TS EAMCET 2024
Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Entrance Test, popularly known as TS EAMCET is a state-level examination. This is an entrance examination to offer admission to the students in agriculture courses at the UG level. The entrance exam is regulated by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The application form to participate in this exam is available from March and the exam may be conducted in July month.

Allahabad University 2024
Allahabad University (University of Allahabad) another well-known university of Utter Pradesh organizes an entrance exam on its level to offer admission to students in UG and PG courses of Agriculture and others.
