SSC CPO Syllabus: Staff Selection Commission SSC shall be soon conducting the CPO exam in November 2023. The candidates who applied for the post of Sub Inspector in various departments can download the syllabus and start preparing for the examination. Those who will pass both the papers will have to appear for the furthermore selection procedures. The authorities have released the notification for the recruitment. The syllabus for both the examinations, that is, Paper I and II is also uploaded by the authorities.

SSC CPO Syllabus 2023
In order to recruit candidates for the post of Sub Inspector in the Central Armed Police Force CAPF and Delhi Police, the authorities will conduct the CPO Exam. The candidates who applied for 4300 vacancies of Sub Inspector will have to appear for the examination. The test will be held in Computer Based Mode. The authorities will be conducted two examinations for CPO, that is, Paper I and Paper II. The candidates will have to appear for the test in October 2023. The authorities are yet to notify the exact dates for the examination.
The date of CPO, Time, Venue, and more will be mentioned in the Admit Cards of the Candidates, which will be issued to them soon. The furthermore selection of the candidates for the Medical, Physical Test, and Document Verification depends on their performance in the SSC CPO Examination.

Staff Selection Commission CPO Exam Scheme
The examination will be held in two parts, Paper I and II. The candidates will have to appear for the exam in an online mode at the centres that will be allocated to them on their admit cards. The papers will be of Computer Based Test CBT type. The authorities have announced that they will allow 2 hours for the students in order to finish each paper. The authorities will award one mark for every correct answer. However, for a wrong answer, the candidates will have to face a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
Furthermore, the candidates will have to remember that initially, they will be appearing for Paper I. Post that, the candidates will be called in to appear for the Physical Standard Test PST or Physical Endurance Test PET. Those who will qualify for the Physical test will have to appear for Paper II. The candidates who will pass Paper II by scoring the qualifying marks will have to appear for the Detailed Medical Examination DME.

SSC Sub Inspector Exam Qualifying and Bonus Marks
The candidates who possess the National Cadet Certificate will be receiving a bonus, as per the guideline of the Government of India. The following bonus marks will be applicable to them:

Syllabus of Staff Selection Commission CPO Exam
As mentioned in the examination scheme, the CPO test will be computer-based and will be conducted as Paper I and II. The candidates will have to observe that the level of the examination will be as per the educational level which was indicated in the eligibility criteria for the posts. The candidates can check the syllabus to get an idea of the topics which will be covered in the test. The intelligence and ability of the candidate will be tested thoroughly. The following g topics have been notified by the authorities through the notification.
They have not specified this as the exact syllabus and the questions will be set from an open syllabus for each subject. Thus, the candidates can use the syllabus for reference purposes. Although, they are recommended to prepare according to the subjects included in both of the papers.
Paper I Syllabus of SSC CPO SI Recruitment
Questions in Paper I will be based on 4 subjects. The topics on which the questions will be based are here as follows:
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: Questions will be based on a variety of topics such as Analogies, analysis, judgment, similarities and differences, word building, arithmetic number series, problem-solving, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, coding and decoding, number analogy, number classification, trends, Venn diagrams, pattern-folding and un-folding, date and city, small and capital letters or numbers coding, critical thinking, emotional and social intelligence, and more.
- General Knowledge and General Awareness: Questions will be set in the examination paper on the basis of the general awareness of the environment and its application, current affairs, and General Knowledge of Indian History, Geography, Economy, Culture, Politics, Civics, and more.
- Quantitative Aptitude: The questions will be mathematical in approach in this section and will be set from topics such as numbers, decimals, fractions, ratio and proportion, percentage, roots, profit and loss, speed, distance, and time, work questions, algebra, equations, triangle, congruency, similarity, circle, tangents, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and more.
- English Comprehension: The proficiency of the Candidate to comprehend English, and writing ability will be tested here.
Paper II Syllabus for SSC Sub Inspector Recruitment
The second paper will be based on the knowledge of the English Language and Comprehension. This paper will widely test the proficiency of the candidate with close reference to the use of Vocabulary, Correctness of Grammar, Idioms, Synonyms, Antonyms, Phrases, Sentence Formation, Spellings, Comprehensive abilities, com[position, and much more. As compared to the English comprehension section of Paper I, this will be more vast and the questions will be included in various types to check the actual proficiency of the candidate in the language.
