Bihar Civil Court Salary 2024: Bihar Civil Court has concluded the application process for the posts of clerk, peon, steno, and reader. The recruitment was for 7692 posts. Bihar Civil Court Salary 2024 of Clerk
The salary for the position of clerk is around ₹25,500-₹81,100. All the group C candidates have a fair chance of promotion also which includes a higher package and allowance. It is to be noted that candidates after final selection will be under a probationary period for some time in which they will be examined.
The total vacancy for the post of clerk is 3325. The procedure for the selection of the clerk of the Bihar civil court is divided into three steps. The first step is the Preliminary Test. It will be a multiple choice questions screening test for all the candidates who have applied for the post of clerk. The second step is the Mains Written Test which is of 90 marks. The test comprises descriptive and objective-type questions. The final step is an interview which is of 10 marks.
The minimum qualifying mark for the written test will be 40%. The category-wise cut-off will be decided later on by the Committee. The preliminary test question will be based on the syllabus provided for the written test only. It is to be noted that the marks obtained by the candidates in the preliminary test will not be considered for the final merit.
Candidates only who have cleared the preliminary test will be allowed to give a written test. After this, the candidates who have cleared the main exam will be called for an interview. The marks of the interview will be added to marks obtained by the candidate in the main written exam and the final merit list will be prepared accordingly.
Syllabus for the Written Test
The written test will have the following syllabus subject-wise:
- English Language and Grammar (20 marks) – Letter writing, Essay writing, Precis, Comprehension and Vocabulary will be asked.
- Hindi Language and Grammar (20 marks): Letter writing, Essay writing, Precis, Comprehension and Vocabulary will be asked.
- General Knowledge and Current Affairs (15 marks) – Questions will be asked on the following subjects – History, Civics, Geography, Everyday Science, the Constitution of India, and Legal Terminology.
- Mathematics of matriculation level (10 marks) – Simple questions from the class 10 level will be asked like Ratio, Time and Distance, Percentage, Simple Interest and Compound interest.
- Reasoning (Verbal and Analytical) (10 marks) – Questions will be set on the English alphabet, sitting arrangement, blood relationship, syllogism, and Venn diagram.
- Basic Computer Science (15 marks) – Questions will be set on basic computer science and terms.
Bihar Civil Court Salary 2024 of Stenographer
The salary for the position of stenographer is around ₹25,500-₹81,100. The total number of posts for stenographers is 1562. All the group C candidates have a fair chance of promotion also which includes a higher package and allowance. It is to be noted that candidates after final selection will be under a probationary period for some time in which they will be examined.
The procedure of selection comprises three steps same as that of the Clerk.

- English Language and Grammar (25 marks) – Common errors, Fill in the blanks, Synonyms/ Antonyms, Spelling detecting, Idioms /Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of sentences, Active/Passive voice, Shuffling of sentence parts.
- Hindi Language and Grammar (25marks) :
- General Knowledge and Current Affairs (10 marks) – Questions will be asked on the following subjects – History, Civics, Geography, Everyday Science, the Constitution of India, and Legal Terminology.
- Mathematics of matriculation level (10 marks) – Simple questions from the class 10 level will be asked like Ratio, Time and Distance, Percentage, Simple Interest and Compound interest.
- Basic Computer Science (20 marks) – History of computers, Fundamental of computer and terminology, Computer abbreviations, Basic of hardware and software, Keyboard shortcut, Operating system, Basic functionalities of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Internet terms and services, Networking and Communication, Securities and Viruses.

Bihar Civil Court Salary 2024 of Peon
The salary for the position of the Peon will be ₹18000 – ₹56,900. The total number of post-1673 on a probation period of two years. The minimum qualification for the post of peon will be a 10th pass. The procedure of selection is divided into three steps. First is a preliminary test and those who qualify will give a Written examination the last step is the interview. The written examination is of 85 marks out of which 30 will be qualifying marks.
The interview will be 15 marks out of which 6 will be qualifying marks. The question asked in the written test will be of class 10th standard of these subjects – Hindi (35 marks), English (15 marks), and Mathematics (35 marks). For interviews, only those candidates will be called who have passed the written examination.
The questions for the interview will be set to the following criteria – General Awareness, Qualification, Experience, and Knowledge of Job each of 2.5 marks. An additional weightage of 10 marks will be given for a special skill.
