Bhagwant Singh Mann has participated in various inter-college competitions and festivals. He has also won two gold medals in the competition conducted by Punjabi University situated in Patiala. Mann releases his first comedy album named “Gobhi Diye Kachiye Vaparanay” with Jagtar Jaggi. Some names of his comedy albums are Haas-Haas Ke, Bhagwant Mann Most Wanted, Sadi Billi Sanu Miaun, etc. Mann and Jagtar Jaggi also made a TV program named Jugnu Kehnda Hai for Alpha ETC Punjabi. Jugnu started his political career by joining the People’s Party of Punjab in 2011. Mann was elected to the sixteenth Lok Sabha in May 2014. He joined Aam Aadmi Party in March 2014. He won the contested elections in the Sangrur Lok Sabha Constituency. He won the election with 2,11,721 votes. Mann was the convener of the Aam Aadmi Party but he resigned from the post when the CM of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal tendered an apology to Bikram Sigh Majithia. The issue was over a drug mafia case. Jugnu then participated in the election to compete Sukhbir Singh Badal and Ravneet Singh Bittu in 2017 but he lost the election. In 2017, when the citizens criticized him for his drinking problem, Jugnu swore that he will never touch alcohol again. He was elected again as the seventeenth Lok Sabha in May 2019. As of now, he is elected as the contestant for the next Chief Minister of Punjab.
