Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya is one of the best universities not only in Madhya Pradesh but the country. Many historic and well-known personalities have belonged to this university. Here in RDVV Dr S. Radhakrishnan delivered its first Convocation address on 1.3.1958 and blessed students and the institution. Similarly, Dr C.D. Deshmukh also delivered the Convocation address on 16.11.1960 here. Among other well-known people like Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri and Dr C.P. Ramaswami Aiyar, Prof. R. Chidambaram has been the Chief Guest at convocations held in the university for different years. Dr J.S. Verma, former Chief Justice of India also delivered the address in convocation on 7th March 2005.
