NIFT 2024 Exam Pattern
A huge number of students register themselves every year for the examination. The students clearing the examination will get admission to various courses of B.F.Tech, M.F.M, B.Des, M.Des, and M.F.Tech. Examination of NIFT 2023 is to be conducted in February 2023. NIFT 2024 Exam Pattern: Weightage of CAT & GAT
Applicants appearing for the examination must know the pattern of examination to secure good positions in the examination. The phases of examinations are different for the courses offered by the authority. The rounds of the examination conducted by the authority are GAT, CAT, GD & PI interview rounds. Read some of the important details for the General Ability Test that the authority will conduct. The General Ability Test is important for all the courses to avail admission in NIFT. Applicants can appear for the examination after completing class 12th. The level of the examination is comparatively easy compared to the other entrance examinations. Questions from the section of English, Quants, Communication ability, Analytics and General Knowledge and current affairs will be asked in the examination.

Situation Test/CAT
Candidates clearing the GAT will appear for the Situation Test or the Creative Ability Test. The authority will be given various conditions under which the candidate’s ability will be tested. For instance, you will be provided material and out of them, you have to design some creative things. The test will follow a similar type of task. Candidates clearing the test will proceed to the next round of selection. The exam will be of 100 marks and 3 hours will be provided.
GD and PI Round
The authority will take the candidate’s Group Discussion and Personal Interview, clearing the first two phases of the examination. The authority will give the discussion topic and can be on any topic. The problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, along with interpersonal skills, will be tested. The discussion will be from 15- 20 and can also take more time, which totally depends upon the topic provided.
