TDP Membership Registration
TDP or Telugu Desam Party was founded by the late actor and filmmaker, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao on 29 March 1982. This was his entry into politics very independently. He was coordinated by Nara Chandrababu Naidu who is presently the President of the party. Both NTR and N Chandrababu have served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. It was after 14 years of service from the latter that the party was replaced by Rythu Congress in AP under the guidance of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is presently the Cheif Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The Telugu Desam Party is presently the opposition to YS Jagan as he heads the state as the CMO. The prime aim of the Telugu Desam Party is to protect the political, economic, social and cultural sanity of the citizens who speak Telugu as their language. The party is aiming to regain its impeccable support in both, Andhra Pradesh and the newly formed Telangana, after their eradication from the CMO.
