APPSC Departmental Test Syllabus: APPSC Departmental Test for various posts is conducted for employees of the AP State government so that they can get recruited in the respective department in some other posts. This recruitment process is only meant for the recruitment of employees within the departments. As the selection is made on the basis of tests, applicants must be aware of the APPSC Departmental Test Syllabus of the concerned post.
APPSC Departmental Test is conducted twice a year. The first session of the test is conducted in the month of May and the other is in the month of November. The syllabus for each post is provided by the commission on its portal.

- APPSC Department Test will be conducted in two modes viz- Objective Type and Conventional mode (Descriptive Type).
- All the objective-type tests are conducted online mode through CBT.
- Conventional papers will be OMR based.
- The exam will be conducted in two shifts- Forenoon and Afternoon
- The duration of exam will vary for Objective and Conventional exams.
