WBJEE JELET 2020 Rank Card
The WBJEEB has released the rank card for JELET 2020. The rank cards have been published on January 13th, 2021. The registered candidates for counselling can check their ranks by logging in to the official e-counselling portal of JELET 2020. They will need their application number and password.
The merit rank list will include only those candidates whose documents have been verified successfully by Virtual Reporting Centres (VRCs) and accepted provisionally.

WBJEE JELET 2020 2nd Seat Allotment Result
After the publication of the rank cards, the 1st round seat allotment list will be declared. The same has been declared on 22nd Jan 2021. The shortlisted candidates are to be informed via an SMS alert on the registered mobile number.
To check the seat allotted, candidates must log in to the official portal using the details asked.
The seat allotment list will be prepared on the basis of the rank secured by the candidate in the General Merit Rank list and his/her choice of the course and the institute.
Post Seat Allotment Result Process
The candidate will have two options to proceed further in the process:
- Accept and freeze the seat
- Accept but upgrade
Choosing the first option means that the candidate is happy with the seat allotted and would like to secure his/her seat in the allotted institute.
Choosing the second option would mean that the candidate is not happy with the seat allotted and would like to upgrade his/her seat, if possible.
Upgradation Guidelines
- If the candidate’s seat is upgraded, he/she will be informed via a SMS alert.
- Upon upgradation, the upgraded candidate can still choose for the further upgradation and pay a requisite amount of fee.
- The seat allotted to the candidate earlier will automatically be cancelled and transferred to the other candidate.
- If the candidate fails to claim the new allotted seat, the upgradation of the candidate will be terminated and will then be considered as a fresh candidate for the next round.
- The candidates who claimed the seat but still requests upgradation will have their recently upgraded seat and a chance for further upgradation in the upcoming rounds.
- The candidates cannot modify their choices of upgradation once made.
Seat Acceptance Fee
The candidates are required to pay seat acceptance fee as per the following criteria.
- Government or Govt.-funded Institutes – INR 5000/-
- Private Institutes – INR 20,000/-
The candidates must keep a physical copy of their provisional allotment letter as it will be required during the physical verification of the documents.
Steps to check JELET 2nd Seat Allotment Result 2021
Follow the steps provided below to check the JELET seat allotment result:-
Step 1: Visit the official website of WBJEEB and select “JELET” tab as shown.

Step 2: Click on “Go to JELET- 2020 e-counselling”.

Step 3: Select “View Seat Allotment Result Round No. 2” as shown.

Step 4: Log in using your JELET-2020 application number and password.

Step 5: Check your allotted course and institute.
Documents Required
The candidates subjected to provisional admission are required to present the list of documents before the concerned authorities.

- Any valid Photo ID proof
- Proof of DOB
- Caste Certificate, if applicable
- Domicile Certificate, if applicable
- Recent photograph

The candidate must keep the original copies of the above-mentioned documents along with self-attested copies of them for the verification.
WBJEE JELET 2020 General Rules
- After the successful admission of the candidate provisionally, he has to report to the concerned institute within the stipulated time.
- There is a provision to withdraw the name from counselling procedure. Once withdrawn, the candidature will be terminated.
- The seat acceptance fee will be refunded to the candidate after withdrawal of the application within 60 days of closure of the counselling process.
- Other candidates may be benefitted with an upgradation in the seat if such vacancies arise.
- As of now, only two rounds of counselling are scheduled, the number of rounds is subject to increase under special circumstances.
