The KCET seat allotment process will be conducted in two rounds. The first round of seat allotment has been started from 21 June and second round of seat allotment will start after that. KCET 2019 2nd Round Mock Allotment
Before publishing the final allotment of seats for the first round the authorities will publish a KCET 2019 mock allotment. In this mock allotment, the applicant will get an indicative allotment of seats in the college and course of their choice. The KCET 2019 mock seat allotment gives a chance to the applicant to change their choice of course or college before the release of final KCET 2019 seat allotment.
Process of KCET Seat Allotment
The complete process of KCET seat allotment will be wind up in two rounds; Seat Allotment Round I, Seat Allotment Round II and Seat Allotment Round III or extended Round II for seat allotment.
- The first round of KCET Seat allotment
The first round of seat allotment will be conducted for the allotment of seats for students belong to Physically Disabled applicants, Candidates from NCC and sports category. Firstly the PH candidates will get the seats then the preference will be given to the NCC applicants and candidates from Sports category. Candidates from UR category and reserved category will get the seats based on the reservation rules and the merit.
- KCET 2nd Round Seat Allotment
In round 2 of seat allotment, the remaining seats will be filled. In this round, the allotment on the newly added seats, unfilled seats, surrendered seats, and forfeited seats will be done. Candidates can check their preference in seat options till the Seat allocation round 2 introduces. If the candidate is not willing to change the preference then he/she will get the admission in KCET as per his/her choice. If any candidate has participated in the round I of seat allocation in KCET then also he can apply for round II but the candidate who did not enter any choice in the round I will not be eligible to participate in round II.
- Third Round of Seat Allotment
If seats will remain unfilled then this round of seat allocation will be initiated by the officials.
