Online registration and choice filling for Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) North Eastern States & Union Territories (NEUT) 2023 ends on 3rd July 2023. After the submission of choice, the authority announce the CSAB NEUT First Seat allotment result on July 18th, 2023. Allotmebt can be checked online from csab official portal.
Allotment of seats by CSAB NEUT-2023 will be made on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Rank (AIR) of the candidates. Through this counselling procedure, candidates will be offered admission to 1st year of Engineering/ Technology, Architecture courses. CSAB NEUT also offers admission to Pharmacy courses and admission to these courses is made on the basis of marks percentage of applicants in class 12th.
CSAB NEUT Seat Allotment Result 2023
Allotment results will be displayed online only on the official CSAB portal. Candidates will also be informed about the allotment through Email/ SMS. No individual allotment letters will be sent by post to any of the candidates.
Therefore applicants are advised to have a regular check on the official CSAB portal for details related to the CSAB NEUT seat allotment. There will be a total of 2 rounds of allotment and a Spot Round. The entire counselling and allotment process is online and is carried out through CSAB-NEUT 2023 portal. How to check CSAB NEUT Seat allotment result?
Candidates have to access seat allotment result online by following the steps mentioned here-
- Open CSAB NEUT 2023 official website i.e., csab.nic.in.
- Click on CSAB NEUT 2023 Seat allotment result link provided on the main page.
- Select the counselling option, Enter JEE 2023 application no., password and security pin.
- Click on Sign In button.
- Seat allotment result will open.
- Check the allotment details and have it.
Post Seat Allotment Process
After the allotment of seats, the following procedures are carried out –
Seat Acceptance & Fee Payment
Those who will be allotted seats in the 1st or 2nd round have to check whether they are satisfied with the seat allotted to them or not. They have to check if they have allotted the seats as per the choices filled by them. After seats are allotted, if they are happy with the allotment, they have to make payment of seat acceptance fee of Rs.4,000/-.
After seat acceptance, they have to exercise options for further admission procedures. They have to choose among the three options and these options are as follows-
- Option-I (Float)- When candidate is willing to be considered for all higher preferences across the institutes.
- Option-II (Slide) – When candidate is willing to be considered higher preferences only within the colleges allotted.
- Option-III (Freeze)- When they are satisfied with the allotted seat and willing to complete the further admission process.
Candidates opting for Option III will get their eligibility verified by the respective authorities. They will be issued Provisional Admission Letter (PAL) which they have to download from the portal. Candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee.
Reporting to the allotted institute
After completing the online reporting i.e., fee payment and exercising options, candidates have to report to the allotted institute in person. They have to report along with all the necessary documents such as allotment letters, fee payment receipts,s and other qualification certificates and documents within the scheduled period.
2nd seat allotment result will be prepared and published on the CSAB-NEUT portal for candidates opting for Option I and Option II.
