Assam ITI Fourth Round Seat Allotment Result

Seat Allotment for admission to different ITIs in Assam will be prepared on the basis of choices locked by the candidates during the counselling. Merit is based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examinations (i.e. class 8th or class 10th).

On the basis of merit and eligibility of the candidates, ranks will be allotted to them so that they can participate in the counselling and admission process. Only those candidates will be allotted ranks who have verified their particulars from the concerned ITIs.  

Two types of trades are offered at ITIs of Assam viz.- Post Matric Trades and Under Matric trade. Post matric trades mean ITI trades for which HSLC or class 10th pass certificate is required whereas Under Matric trades include programs for which class 8th pass certificate is required as a minimum qualification. Therefore, ranks for both programs are prepared to take different qualification requirements into consideration.  

In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in qualifying exams, the following rules will be followed in the order of priority to determine the inter-se-merit-

For both Post Matric and Under Matric trades- 

  • Higher marks in Mathematics
  • Higher marks in English
  • Randomization by the system

How to check Assam ITI 2022 4th Seat Allotment?

Fourth Round Allotment will be generated and uploaded online for all the candidates. Once it will be uploaded online, registered candidates who have verified their documents can check it.

They can follow the easy steps given below to view their seat allotment-

  • Go to the official website of ITI Assam admissions i.e. (https://itiassam.admissions.nic.in/).
  • Candidates will see the homepage of the website.
  • On this page, they have to enter their Login ID, password, and security pin in the login section. Click on submit button.
  • The candidate’s registration page will open.
  • On this page, they have to click on the relevant allotment option.
  • 4th Allotment details will appear.
  • Check the allotted college and other information.
  • Download and take a printout of the allotment letter at the end.

Reservation Rule

The rank and allotment of seats are also based on category-wise reservation. Counselling

After the allocation of ranks to the eligible candidates, conducting authority will organize the counselling process. All the candidates who will be allotted ranks have to register for counselling and have to fill choices for their preferred ITI and trade.

ITI Assam counselling will be an e-counselling which means it will be conducted in online mode. Counselling will be organized in phases. Candidates who will not be allotted seats in the 4th round can apply for subsequent rounds or those who will not be satisfied with the allotted seat can apply for up-gradation in each round.

Seat allotment will be based on the ranks, choices filled by the candidates, seats available and reservations applicable.  

Admission Fee

After the final allotment of ITI and trade, candidates have to take admitted to the allotted ITI. They have to make payment of the prescribed admission fee.
