Pathani Samanta Mathematics Scholarship Test (PMST) is a state-level test conducted by the Odisha Government to identify meritorious students and provide them with scholarships to nurture their talent in Mathematics. The Odisha PMST Application Form for 2023-24 is active on the portal. Interested and eligible students should apply before the due date. Applications for the scholarship test are to be submitted online mode only.

Odisha PMST Application Form 2023

Odisha PMST is conducted every year for class 6 to Class 9 students. The selection of Class 11 students is done based on marks in the Class 10 examination. The scholarship is divided into three stages. Applications can be submitted online. The scholarship to Stage I and Stage II is offered only to the students who pass the scholarship test. Odisha PMST 2023 Eligibility

Only the students of the state studying in Odia medium are eligible for the scheme.
For Stage I, candidates should be studying in Class 6.
For Stage II, candidates should be studying in Class 9.
For Stage III, they must be studying in class 11th. Only the top 2000 HSC-qualified students are eligible for application.
There are no minimum income criteria.

Documents Required for PMST Application

Students who wish to apply for the scholarship need to have the following documents ready with them during the application process-

Aadhaar Card
School Id
Marksheet of the last exam passed by the students
Passbook copy of the Bank Account with details such as Account No—and IFSC code.
Passport-size photograph of the student
Signature
The mark sheet of the last examination passed.

Stage I and Stage II (Class 6^th to 9^th) Application process:-

Applications are submitted online only through the designated authorities/ Authority to Log in.
Students are not allowed to apply on their own.
The Authority to Log in for Stage I candidates (Elementary Schools) are Block Education Officers. They will submit applications.
For Stage I and Stage II students, applications will be filled out by the Head of the Institutions.
Students have to provide the necessary information to the Authorities to log in.
The concerned authorities have to submit the students’ applications through the link provided on the official website of BSE, Odisha.

Stage III (Class 11^th – 12^th) Application Process

The students will fill out application forms for Stage III online. They can follow the given instructions-

Open State Scholarship Portal of Odisha.
Click on the “Apply Scholarship” link given on the homepage.
Search for the PMST option and click on the “Apply” link.
You will be taken to the Student Login page.
Click on the Register Here link.
Now, agree to the conditions mentioned.
The registration page will open.
Enter Aadhaar No—and other personal details as asked. Click on the Register button.
On successful registration, Student login details will be generated.
Log in with the student login ID and password.
Fill in all the compulsory information such as personal, academic, eligibility, and bank information.
Click on the Next button.
The application form preview will open. Save and take a printout of the same.
Keep the application form copy safe for further reference.

Odisha PMST: Exam Pattern

Scholarship exams for Stage I and Stage II will be conducted separately.
It will be an offline exam i.e., OMR based exam.
Objective Type Questions will be asked.
The total number of questions will be 60.
The total marks will be 150 marks.

Before the conduct of the exam, applicants will be issued admit cards. They have to download the admit card from the BSE portal.
