KVPY Registration 2020: The registration process to apply for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) started from 6th September and is currently active. This Yojna is a national level scholar program. The KVPY is a national level scheme for the students who are studying in class 11th and 12th.
Students who are in 1st year of their UG course can also do the KVPY registration. To select the eligible candidates for the scholarship offered under KVPY, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) will arrange an aptitude test and interview. Students who will qualify the test and interview both will get the scholarship under this scheme.

KVPY Registration Application Form 2020
The registration process for KVPY is currently active. Students can submit applications before the due date. The process for registration will be conducted online. In 2020, the registration process has got delayed due to pandemic. After the registration process, the examination to offer the scholarship to the candidates will be conducted on 31st January 2021. The result of the exam will be out after the conduct of exam. Date of result will be announced later. Selected candidates will get the scholarship in their bank accounts.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for KVPY
Before thinking of applying for KVPY online, the applicants need to check their eligibility. Here we have compiled the same in detail. Read the information given below, and if you fulfill the conditions as mentioned here then you can register online on the website of KVPY;
For Stream SA | To apply for the scholarship under KVPY, the applicant must be a student of class 11th for science subjects from a recognized board. The students must have qualified class 10th with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in science and maths both subjects. For the students from SC, ST, EWS, and OBC categories, the minimum required marks in class 10th is 65%. |
For Stream SX | Students in class 12th who want to continue their studies and get admission in UG courses can also apply for the scholarship under this scheme. For this, the aspirants must have scored 75% aggregate marks in class 10th in /maths and science. For reserved categories, the minimum required marks is 65%. |
For Stream SB | This scheme is applicable for the students in UG courses as well. Those who are currently studying in the first year of undergraduate course with any one of the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Maths, or Bio can fill the registration form available online. For this, the students must have scored 60% marks in class 12th. |

How to Fill KVPY 2020 Application Form Online
KVPY application form 2020 is released online, and applicants have to submit them online only before the last date. Here the stepwise instructions are given. To complete the registration process to take the aptitude test and interview follow the below mentioned steps;
Step 1: Visit the official website of KVPY.
Step 2: Click on “KVPY Aptitude test 2020 Application portal” given on the homepage.
Step 3: Now, click on “Registration and Application login” link.
Step 3: A page will appear on the screen that will be having the terms and conditions related to the scholarship exam. Please read them and then click on the I Agree button. After this, you will have to click on the Register button given on the same page.
Step 4: Enter the asked information like name, contact number, date of birth, and valid mail id to register on the page.
Step 5: You will receive the login credentials on your mail id, and contact number after the registration process will get completed. Use them to log in on the page to apply for the KVPY 2020.
Step 6: Now enter the remaining information in the application form like the choice of exam, preference of exam center.
Step 7: Upload your documents online now. You will have to upload your recent photo, signature, educational qualification certificate, and caste certificate in case of reserved categories. After this, pay the application fee and submit the form.

KVPY Selection Process
The Selectione of the students will be done based on their performance in the Aptitude Test and then interview. The test will be a 3 hour written test where the applicants will have to give the answers to multiple-choice questions. On clearing the test, they will have to appear in the interview. After this, the online result will be released on the official website of KVPY.
