PM Kisan eKYC Registration Process
Back in the year 2019, the Central Government started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi to provide financial support to small and marginal farmers by directly transferring ₹6,000 per year into the bank account of the registered farmer in three equal instalments. Till now, 14 instalments have already been transferred into the bank accounts of the farmers, and now they are going to credit the next, i.e., the 15th instalment of the scheme.
Still, it is to be noted that only such farmers will receive this instalment to complete their e-KYC, and it is mandatory for all registered farmers. These registered farmers can also apply for the PM Kisan Tractor Scheme.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana eKYC Update
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi provides the funds to those who completed the e-KYC or KYC verification process, and all those farmers who followed the registration procedure have already received their 12th instalment amount in their respective bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. About PM Kisan eKYC Status Update
The PM Kisan KYC application process has already ended, and to enjoy the smooth flow of funds, the registered farmers have to update their e-KYC. Only then will they be eligible enough to apply for the 14th and succeeding instalments. The registered user has to be smart enough to update their account as soon as possible.
Check PM Kisan e-KYC Status online
As explained above, it’s mandatory for all registered farmers to update their respective e-KYC and to follow the below-mentioned steps by visiting the eKYC Portal aadhar:
- Go to PM-Kisan official website i.e. pmkisan.gov.in.
- Scroll down a little bit, and on the right side of the page, under the section of ‘Farmers Corner’ click on ‘eKYC’ and a new web page will open.
- Enter your Aadhaar No, Captch Code, and press on the ‘Search’ button.
- You will receive a PM Kisan eKYC OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Submit it in the blank section available on the page, and then click on ‘Submit’.
- A successful updates pop-up message will appear on your system, displaying valid details.
You are advised to check that your internet speed is good otherwise the portal will not get open and you won’t be able to update your account on time.
PM Kisan eKYC Status Update Offline
If you cannot do KYC Online, then you can also adopt the Offline method in which you have to visit the closest Common Service Center (CSC) and then link your Aadhaar with PM Kisan e-KYC via biometric authentication. Wait a few minutes, and the CSC officer will inform you about your KYC update.
If you aren’t able to complete the procedure by yourself then you can request the official appointed at the CSC to teach you how to update the account.
The process to check PM Kisan’s beneficiary status

- Visit the PM-Kisan main website pmkisan.gov.in.
- Tap the ‘Beneficiary Status’ box to connect you to a new page.
- Choose any option you want to check the status (Aadhaar No, Account No, Mobile No).
- After entering the number, tap on the ‘Get Data’ box, and a refreshed page will show your application status in the form of a soft copy.
- Click on the ‘Printout’ box and draw the application status and you will get the hardcopy of your application form.
PM Kisan Nidhi Invalid OTP
As the last date of PM Kisan eKYC is approaching, all the farmers who have registered under this are hurriedly looking to complete their KYC update process. However, many farmers have reported the problem of Invalid OTP or not getting OTP. Some reasons are expected to be the root cause of this problem. First, confirm whether your mobile number is linked to your aadhaar.
If not, then first do the same the second thing might be due to portal dysfunctionality this problem arises, so if your aadhaar is linked with your mobile number, then try to do the said process again, but in case the problem persists, then do call the helpline number or visit nearby CSC centre.
