WBJEE JELET Result 2023 [OUT]; Merit Rank E-Counselling Schedule

WBJEE JELET 2023 Result is announced online at WBJEE Portal. So the applicants who appeared for the JELET 2023 Entrance test held on 10th June may check their JELET Rank Card from https://wbjeeb.nic.in/ and for this, they must keep their Application Number and DOB. As per the notice dated 3rd August, the WB JELET Result will be announced on 4t August 2023.

As notified in the JELET notification, the board will not publish any rank or score instead a rank card will be issued and such a rank card can be downloaded on the notified date. Here in this article, the applicant will get to know about WB JELET 2023 results in detail.

WBJEE JELET Result 2023

Before the publication of the JELET Result board will release the model answer key for the application which can be accessed online and from this, they can evaluate their performance and get the tentative score.

Also, if anyone wants to submit an objection against the JELET answer key then it needs to be done within a given time frame and for this, they need to pay a subsequent amount of fee per question.

WBJEE JELET Result 2023 Date

Admission to the College will be given on the basis of the merit list, rank holding in the exam, and seat vacancy. Also, first students will be given admission to government universities and then will for private colleges. Also, many scholarship programs are running you should check out the official portal for more information.

1. Click on the latest links which will be provided here.
2. Go to the page and search/look for the tab with JELET.
3. Click on it, and various links will appear.
4. Look for the result link
5. Open it, a new window will open where you need to enter details like DOB, application number/enrollment ID, etc.
6. Now submit that information and hit enter.
7. Your WBJEE JELET 2023 Result will appear on the screen.
8. Take the snapshot or take out the print as it will be needed at the time of counselling.

JELET Merit List 2023

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will publish JELET 2023 merit lists based on the candidate’s total score. WBJEEB will publish five separate merit lists for different courses.

• Merit rank for Diploma holders in Engineering & Technology except for Printing Technology and Agricultural Engineering.
• Merit Rank for Diploma holders in Printing Technology.
• Merit Rank for Diploma holders in Agricultural Engineering.
• Merit Rank for Diploma holders in Pharmacy.
• Merit Rank for B.Sc. Candidates.

1. The above lists will be in the candidates’ name and style of General Merit Rank (GMR)
2. Separate reserved category merit rank shall also be published for respective category of students e.g. SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank. But only ‘GMR’ shall be applicable for sequencing the counselling and seat allotment.
3. Ranking of the said Merit Lists shall be done in the descending order of total marks scored in the entrance test.
4. However, there may be ties, and following tie-breaking rule shall be applicable for them in the determination of their merit rank.

Tie-breaking Methodology in Merit Rank

For Diploma holders in Engineering & Technology except for Printing Technology and Agricultural Engineering:

• Less negative marks in total
• More positive marks in Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials taken together.
• Less negative marks in Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials taken together.
• More positive marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together.
• Less negative marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together.

For Diploma holders in Printing Technology:

• Less negative marks in total
• More positive marks in Basic Printing Engineering and Printers’ Materials Science taken together.
• Less negative marks in Basic Printing Engineering and Printers’ Materials Science taken together.
• More positive marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together
• Less negative marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together

Diploma holders in Agricultural Engineering:

• Less negative marks in total
• More positive marks in Soil & Water, Farm Machinery and Power and Food Processes and Food Harvest Engineering taken together.
• Less negative marks in Soil & Water, Farm Machinery and Power and Food Processes and Food Harvest Engineering taken together.
• More positive marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together
• Less negative marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together

For B. Sc. candidates:

• Less negative marks in total

For Diploma holders in Pharmacy:

• Less negative marks in total

If a tie exists still thereafter, the same will be broken by the date of birth (DOB) of the concerned candidates; the older candidate will be given preference over the younger one.
