TS EdCET Result 2023; Answer Key Out, Rank Card Soon

TS EdCET Result 2023 for applicants who appeared for the entrance test on 18th May may download their respective answer key and response sheet. Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) 2023 was conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University on behalf of TSCHE for admission of the eligible candidates into two years B.Ed program offered at various institutions/ colleges.

After conducting the same, the University declare its TS EdCET Results 2023. Students may download their rank card online or link provided below.

TS EdCET Results are posted only on the official website as per the schedule. No hard copy of the result card/ score will be provided by the conducting authority. Candidates waiting for the result are therefore advised to refer only to the official website or this page for accessing the result.

The result will be based purely on the scores of the candidates in the common entrance test. After the publication of the result/ rank card, counselling will be commenced for the allotment of seats to the qualified candidates.

TS EdCET Qualifying Marks 2023

There is a minimum qualifying marks criterion that candidates have to satisfy in order to crack the entrance test. The conducted authority has fixed a separate qualifying marks criterion for each category of the candidates appearing in the test.

Check the minimum passing marks criteria details given as under-

• The minimum marks criteria for all the candidates except SC/ST is 25% of the total marks (which are rounded off to 38 marks).
• No minimum marks criteria are there for SC and ST candidates. However, in order to claim seats under the Games/ PH/ Wards of personnel quota or Sports quota, they must secure a minimum of 25% marks.

Results will be prepared after the normalization of the question paper as the exam was conducted in multiple shifts. The following formula is used for the normalization of marks in order to prepare the final result of the candidates-

How to view TS EdCET 2023 Result?

The following details are to be followed by each of the candidates to download the result/scorecard-

• Start by logging in to the official website of TS EdCET 2023.
• Click on the TS EDCET Rank Card Download link.
• Enter the details required to be filled in respective blocks. Click on the View rank card button.
  
• TS EdCET result sheet will open. Go through the result details.
• Download the result sheet for your reference.

TS EdCET Ranking

Each candidate who qualifies the exam is provided with a rank on the basis of marks secured in the entrance test. The result is going to be a rank card showing the marks and ranks allotted to the candidates. In case there is a tie between the total marks of two candidates, then the relative merit will be decided on the basis of subject/content marks.

In case the tie still persists, then marks obtained on Teaching Aptitude will be considered. In case of further ties, marks secured in General English will be taken into account. If the tie is still not resolved then the marks secured in General Knowledge (GK) & Educational Issues will be considered. Further marks in Computer Awareness will be considered if, the tie is still not there. If candidates have secured equal marks in all the papers, then both will be bracketed for the rank. For these bracketed candidates, their age will be considered at the time of admission in order to determine their relative ranking. Older candidates will be ranked high.

The rank card of TS EdCET will be valid for admission only to the current year. The rank card shall be final and thus no request for rechecking or re-totalling of marks will be entertained.

TS EdCET Counseling

The seat allotment and admission to B.Ed. colleges will be carried out by the university through counselling. The result will be followed by the conduct of counselling by the concerned authority. The notification regarding the counselling process will be released in due course. Candidates shortlsited have to participate in the counselling process. The final allotment of seats will be based on AP LAWCET scores, availability of seats, preferences for college, reservation policies, etc. factors.   The counselling notice will also be updated only on TS EdCET 2023 official website.
