TS ECET 2020 Result Rank Card
Candidates can now have the results on the official portal. The entrance examination schedule notified by the authority has been postponed and the authority has instructed to wait for further orders for the declaration of examination dates as it will be released in due course of time. Previously, the examinations were expected to be held in the month of July 2020. However, due to COVID-19 most of the applicants were unable to enrol for the application form. Therefore, the authority has extended the online application dates, and very soon it will be conducting the entrance examinations. Counselling Process for TS ECET 2020
After the declaration of rank card authority will update about the counseling process. Candidates will be awarded their choice of preference as per the scores obtained in the rank card. It is necessary for the applicant to appear for counseling process so as to avail admission to the preferred colleges. Applicants have to pay a nominal fee to book their seats for the counseling process which will be refunded after the counseling process. The dates are not declared by the authority for the counseling. However, it will be expected to be conducted in the month of September 2020. Tie-Breaking Criteria for TS ECET 2020
The passage will have the details for the candidates having a query regarding the case of the same marks scored by the different candidates. Who will be preferred in this case? Have look over the passage to have the answer to this question.
Diploma/Engineering
Applicants who will obtain higher marks in the examination will be preferred first. In case of same marks scored by the different candidates, the preference will be given to the candidate scoring higher marks in the mathematics section. If the tie again continues, applicant scoring higher marks in physics section will be preferred.
If the tie again remains the same the date of birth of candidate born earlier will be given preference.
Pharmacy
Same procedure for tie break rule will be implemented as above.
B.Sc (Mathematics)
The overall percentage will be considered in the examination for B.Sc (Mathematics). The age criteria will be adopted if the tie still remains same.
