TNDTE Diploma Passing Requirements 2021

Candidates who have taken the semester exam must secure, minimum qualifying marks to be eligible to receive the diploma at the end of final semester. They must pass the practical and theory exam separately.

Candidates should secure at least 40% marks in the Theory exam and minimum 50% in the practical exams. Candidates not complying with the minimum requirements will not be able to pass the exam.

TN Polytechnic Result Revaluation 2021

Candidates not satisfied with their marks or result can apply for revaluation. DTE provide such candidates an opportunity to apply for Xerox copy of their answer sheets or revaluation.

For Xerox copy of answer scripts, candidates have to fill an application form and have to pay requisite fee. Candidates can only apply for the theory exam. Application for revaluation of practical exam will not be permissible. Applications issued after due date will not be entertained.

They have to pay processing fee of Rs.100/- per paper to Xerox copy of answer script. It can be paid through Demand Draft, obtained from any nationalized bank in the name of “Additional Director of Technical Education (Examinations), Chennai – 600 025” payable at “Chennai”. They have to submit it to the Chairman through their institution within 15 days from the date of publication of results. They will receive a copy of answer sheet within 15 days.

After going through the answer script, if candidates still have doubts regarding their they can apply for revaluation. They have to fill an application form available on the official website and have to send it to the Chairmen’s office along with the demand draft of Rs.400/- (per paper) and xerox copy of the answer script within one week of the answer sheet xerox copy.

Answer scripts will be revalued by the panel of concerned officials and the decision will be intimated to the candidates.

TNDTE Even/Odd Sem Exam Result Marksheet 

Once the result, will be published candidates will be issued original mark sheets. The online result will be provisional and will be only for the purpose of information to the candidates. Candidates are therefore advised not to treat it has original mark sheet.

Candidates can collect their mark sheets from the concerned department of the respective institute. Students in final semester (i.e. 6th semester) having arrears in lower semester will not be issued final mark sheets. Once all their arrears will be cleared, DTE will send their mark sheet along with all the certificates to the respective institute.
