TNDTE Diploma Passing Requirements 2024
Candidates who have taken the semester exam must secure, minimum qualifying marks to be eligible to receive the diploma at the end of the final semester. They must pass the practical and theory exam separately.
Candidates should secure at least 40% marks in the Theory exam and a minimum of 50% in the practical exams. Candidates not complying with the minimum requirements will not be able to pass the exam.
TN Polytechnic Result Revaluation 2024
Candidates not satisfied with their marks or result can apply for revaluation. DTE provides such candidates with an opportunity to apply for a Xerox copy of their answer sheets or revaluation.
For Xerox copies of answer scripts, candidates have to fill out an application form and have to pay the requisite fee. Candidates can only apply for the theory exam. Application for revaluation of practical exam will not be permissible. Applications issued after the due date will not be entertained.
They have to pay a processing fee of Rs.100/- per paper to Xerox copy of the answer script. It can be paid through Demand Draft, obtained from any nationalized bank in the name of “Additional Director of Technical Education (Examinations), Chennai – 600 025” payable at “Chennai”. They have to submit it to the Chairman through their institution within 15 days from the date of publication of the results. They will receive a copy of the answer sheet within 15 days.
After going through the answer script, if candidates still have doubts regarding their they can apply for revaluation. They have to fill out an application form available on the official website and have to send it to the Chairmen’s office along with the demand draft of Rs.400/- (per paper) and a xerox copy of the answer script within one week of the answer sheet xerox copy.
Answer scripts will be revalued by the panel of concerned officials and the decision will be intimated to the candidates.
TNDTE Even/Odd Sem Exam Result Marksheet
Once the result, will be published candidates will be issued original mark sheets. The online result will be provisional and will be only for the purpose of information to the candidates. Candidates are therefore advised not to treat it as an original mark sheet.
Candidates can collect their mark sheets from the concerned department of the respective institute. Students in the final semester (i.e. 6th semester) having arrears in a lower semester will not be issued final mark sheets. Once all their arrears will be cleared, DTE will send their mark sheet along with all the certificates to the respective institute.
