Important Points Related to dge.tn.gov.in result
- Tamilnadu Board Class 12th results will release soon.
- It will be released only through online mode. No other mode will be applicable.
- The board is not going to deliver any physical copy of the result to any of the students.
- Students can check their results on the official website by using their valid roll number and date of birth.
- After the announcement of the result, the board will also release the list of topper students.
- Students who will not be able to pass their 12th exam will have to appear in a supplementary exam. Dates for supplementary exams and results will be updated later.
- Students can collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools after a few days after the declaration of the result.

12th Public Exam Post Result Publication Activities
Provisional Certificate:
The Directorate has introduced a system of issuing temporary mark sheets or mark certificates (i.e. Provisional Certificates) to the students after the declaration of results. This system is being followed by the directorate since 2015. This certificate can be used by the students for 90 days and they can check their result details and the accuracy of their marks. In case they find any discrepancy in the provisional certificate then it will be rectified in the original one.
Revaluation & Re-totaling
Students who are not happy with their marks can also apply for re-totalling of marks and also for revaluation of the answer sheets. The application for both will be submitted separately as they both include different jobs. Students have to submit applications as per the prescribed format and within the dates specified by the directorate.
Scan copy of Answer scripts
DGE, Tamilnadu, allows candidates to apply for a scanned copy of answer scripts after the exam. Candidates have to apply for it and have to pay the application fee. For more updates, they must stay in touch with the official portal and the concerned school.
