Staff Selection Commission conducted its CHSL Tier 2 exam on June 26th, 2023. The authority prepares the result based on performance and releases its result as per the cut-off set by the commission for this round. As such, the CHSL Tier 2 result date is not announced, but it is likely to be out soon. Students may check their CHSL TIER 2 results from the commission portal (ssc.nic.in) or this page.

How to download SSC CHSL 2023 Result?

Those who are looking for the result of SSC CHSL can check it online by following the steps shared below once it is made available online-

  • Step 1- Go to the official website ssc.nic.in

SSC CHSL 2023 candidates first, have to visit the official website of the commission (https://ssc.nic.in).   

  • Step 2- Open the result link

On the homepage, candidates have to search for the “CHSL Tier I 2023 selection list/ result” option given under the “Latest News” section. Click on the link.

  • Step 3- Result will appear

On clicking the relevant link, result will finally appear on the device screen. Result will appear in the form of pdf file indicating the names of the selected candidates.

  • Step 4- Check the result

Now, candidates have to find their name and roll number in the list. If their name will be there on the list, it will imply that the particular candidate is eligible to appear for the next stage of recruitment.

  • Step 5- Save and download

Lastly, candidates can download the result PDF for their personal record and future references.

SSC CHSL Result Dates

SSC CHSL examination is conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit suitable candidates for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators in various ministries/ offices and departments of the Government of India.   

The final selection of suitable candidates for the aforesaid posts will be done after the completion of all the rounds of selection process. SSC CHSL selection process basically includes following stages that candidates have to qualify to get the job-

  • Tier I- Computer Based Examination (CBE)
  • Tier-II- Descriptive Exam
  • Tier-III- Skill Test/ Typing Test)

SSC CHSL result will be published as a PDF file containing the names of the candidates shortlisted for Tier-II exam. Result is going to be published as the selection list. The scorecard will be published later after the release of the result.

The selection list is expected to indicate following particulars-   

  • Name of the shortlisted candidate
  • Roll number
  • Category
  • Important instructions

After the release of the selection list, Commission may also upload candidate’s scorecards on their login accounts. Candidates access their scorecard at their respective login.

The scorecard will indicate details such as name of the candidates, their roll number, subject-wise score, total marks obtained, maximum marks, total marks percentage, and other related information.  

SSC CHSL Normalization of Marks   

As the SSC CHSL exam was conducted in multiple shifts on different dates, merit and result will be prepared based on normalization of marks of the candidates. Under the process of normalization marks obtained by the candidates are normalized.

The final result and cut-off marks will be based on the normalized marks of the candidates.

SSC CHSL Post Result Procedure

After a few days of the result declaration, the commission will also upload the marks of candidates on its portal. Before the upload of marks, online candidates will be intimated through a notice on the official portal. Marks will be made available on the candidate’s login which means they have to access the same by using valid login credentials.

In order to check marks obtained in exam, candidates have to follow the step-by-step procedure provided as under-

  1. Visit www.ssc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the “Result” tab provided on the homepage.
  3. Hit the “CHSL” option from the menu bar.
  4. Now search for “CHSL 2023 Tier I Examination” option.
  5. Click on “Marks” link given corresponding to the option.
  6. Enter the valid registration number. and password.
  7. Check the marks obtained.
  8. Save the marks pdf for further reference.    

Tier II- Candidates who will qualify first round have to appear for Tier II exam. Tier II will be a descriptive test and the minimum qualifying marks will be 33%.

Tier III- Those who will qualify the descriptive test will be invited to attend Tier III, the last round of selection. Tier III will consist of skill test/ Typing test depending on the requirement of post. It will be qualifying in nature. Final result will be prepared on the basis of all the Tier.
