Symbiosis will conduct the SET exam on 19^th July 2020 in online mode and the result of this exam will release in August 2020. What After SET Results 2020 is released?

After the release date of the SET result, the qualified candidates will be called for counseling. Only those aspirants will get a call from symbiosis that will score the minimum cut off marks. The candidates will be allotted the seat based on their score marks, Writing Aptitude Test (WAT) and Personal Interview. The more you score in this process the early you will get a call for counseling. 

To appear in counseling of SET for getting admission in the desired course, you are suggested to download and save the scorecard as the institute will not entertain any request for scorecard after that. Candidates will get the call letter from those institutes which candidates chose form them while registration for SET 2020. The call letters of counseling will be sent to candidates 4-5 days prior to starting of PI-WAT rounds. During the counseling, candidates will have to make fill their preference for college and pay the required fee for counseling.

SET Counselling Process 2020

The counseling process for SET 2020 will start in June. As of now, the symbiosis authorities haven’t declared any date to start the counseling for admission but it can be 5 June 2020.  Qualifies candidates will get a call letter for PI-WAT rounds at  Pune or Noida centers as per the schedule.

The counseling process will be having the following steps:

• Personal Interaction of candidates: In this step, the candidates will have to appear in a personal interview with the expert panel from Industries or Academics. In this round questions from General Awareness, Extracurricular Activities, Academics and candidates’ hobbies are asked.  Applicants’ knowledge, personality, and communication skills are checked in this round.
• Written Test: To check the written ability, a written test is included in the counseling process. In this round, a picture association test is included. Candidates will have to look at the given picture and need to write short answers questions based on the given topic.
• Studio Test (for SCMC Pune): This test is conducted only of the Pune center. 
• Document Verification: Applicants need to carry the following documents for the counseling process:
  • SET 2020 scorecard (carry both original and photocopy)
  • Class 10 mark sheet (original and photocopy)
  • Class 12 mark sheet (original and photocopy)
  • Migration certificate (original and photocopy)
  • Transfer certificate (original and photocopy)
  • Date of Birth certificate (original and photocopy)
  • Address Proof (original and photocopy)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable) (original and photocopy)

Symbiosis SET – Reservation Policy

If you are looking to get admission in Symbiosis then you must know about its reservation policy. SIU has the provision of reservation for the candidates belong to some certain categories.

• 15% for SC candidates
• 7.5% for ST Candidates
• 3% for Differently Abled Candidates

Symbiosis SET Cut Off 2020

As you must know that to reach up to the counseling stage you will have to score the cut off marks declared by the exam conducting authority. Symbiosis will release the cut off marks detail with the announcement of result. University will publish cut off marks based merit list and waiting list on its website on the result publishing day. For a different course, a different cut off list will be published. To get admission in Symbiosis applicants need to score more or equal marks to the cut off marks in all the subjects.

How to Check SET Result 2020 and scorecard

Here are the steps to follow to download the result of Symbiosis Entrance Test 2020.

1. Navigate to the official website of SET, the link of same has been given in the table above.
2. On the home page of the website, you will find a tab named ‘Download Score Card’, click on it.
3. Enter your login credentials; SET 2020 ID and Password on the new page appear on your screen.
4. Now your result will appear on your screen.
5. Download it and save it for further use.

The scorecard of SET 2020 will be available on the aforementioned website for one month from the date of declaration of results so download it before that. As its an entrance examination so candidates will not be able to apply for revaluation or rechecking.
