RUHS PB B.Sc. Nursing Counselling
The selection of candidates for admission to the Nursing Post Basic Course in RUHS is made on the basis of merit in the entrance exam followed by counselling. After publishing the result of the entrance exam, Board will conduct online counselling. Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks will be called for counselling. The university is expected to release a separate notification for counselling. Candidates have to register for counselling as per the schedule.
Selection Procedure
Candidates’ selection for admission will be strictly based on the marks of the candidates in the entrance test with a bonus mark of 1 % on completing a nursing service every 2 years under state government on the cut-off date of application. These bonus marks will not be awarded in fractions.
Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case of a tie between two students during the selection process, a tie-breaking criterion in the given order will be followed-
- No. of attempts for passing GNM examination- The candidate with lesser number of attempts shall be given preference.
- Candidate’s date of birth- Candidate older in age is given preference.
- Marks of the candidates in Higher Secondary exam.
- Marks of the candidates in Secondary/ High School.
