Directorate of School Education, West Bengal organizes the examination every year to find the students with high intellect and appreciate their talent by granting scholarships to them. It is a national level examination regulated under the guidelines prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training, NCERT. However, the authorized state education departments supervise the conduction of the examination in the concerned states. NTSE West Bengal Merit List 2021
Students selected for the Stage II of NTSE Scholarship West Bengal will be based on the release of a merit list. Only the students who have their names on the merit list will be considered eligible to appear for the next stage. It will be prepared by the concerned authorities of the Directorate of School Education, West Bengal on the grounds of reservation criteria and minimum qualifying marks.
The merit list will be finalized after ensuring the minimum qualifying marks obtained by the students in both tests. The scores of both MAT (Mental Ability Test) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) will be regarded while preparing the list.
It must be noted that the rank or marks obtained in the first stage of the examination will not play any role in the final selection of the candidates. Stage -I is conducted only to refer the commendable students from each state/UT to the NCERT. The final merit list will be prepared by the NCERT and only those shortlisted students will be rewarded the concerning scholarships.

How to view NTSE West Bengal Result 2021 Stage 1?
The result of NTSE West Bengal 2021 can be accessed by the students through the official website of the School Education Department, WB @www.scholarships.wbsed.gov.in. Check the procedure described below.
Step I:- Firstly the applicants need to visit the official website of the School Education Department, Government of West Bengal. The homepage will be displayed on the screen.
Step II:- On the homepage, the applicants must click on the option of “NTSE West Bengal Result 2021” under the Notice tab.
Step III:- A list with the names of all the shortlisted candidates for the Stage II examination of NTSE will appear.
Step IV:- Search for your name or roll number in the list.
Step V:- All the selected candidates must preserve a copy of the result with themselves for future references.
