NTSE Karnataka Result 2021
The Department of State Educational Research and Training (DSERT) conducts NTSE state level exam for recommending suitable students from the state for national level scholarship exam every year. A large number of students participate in the exam but only few qualify for the next round. NTSE stage exam for the year 2020 was successfully conducted and KSEB also released the answer keys to both the papers.

NTSE Karnataka Result Merit List
The result or merit list for NTSE 2020 stage one exam is prepared by the DSERT. The result is prepared by ensuring the minimum qualifying marks in both the tests i.e. MAT and SAT separately. The result of NTSE exam at state level is generally declared in the month of January but this year (2020) it has been delayed to the covid-19.
Students should note that the result of first stage exam will be considered only for recommending the candidates for the next level of exam conducted by the NCERT. The marks secured by the candidates in this exam are not included in the preparation of the final merit list for the award of scholarship. Any correspondence regarding first level of exam and its result.
The merit list for the first stage will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the students in the written exam. In order to qualify for the next round, they have to secure minimum qualifying marks in the exam fixed by the NCERT. The category-wise minimum qualifying marks criteria is shared as under-

How to access NTSE Karnataka Scholarship Result?
Students can access their result by visiting the KSEB portal. To download the result, they can take help from the easy steps shared below-
- Step 1- Go to the official website of DSERT, Karnataka i.e.- http://www.dsert.kar.nic.in/.
- Step 2- Click on “NTSE-NMMS” link given on the homepage.
- Step 3- On this webpage, click on NTSE 2020 result link.
- Step 4- NTSE 2019 Stage one result pdf will finally appear.
- Step 5- Check the result and all the particulars mentioned on the result sheet.

Information Mentioned on the Result Sheet
Karnataka NTSE result for stage 1 exam will be released in the form of selection list of the students for the next round. Students will not require any login information to access the result. The result list will indicate following information about the result-
Name of the students selected for stage two exam in the order of rank, their roll number, gender, selected quota or category, Marks secured in GMAT paper, marks secured in SAT, total marks and rank secured.
NTSE Karnataka Result- Rechecking and Re-evaluation
The scoring and evaluation both the MAT and the SAT answer sheet is done through the computers. While processing of result all possible precautions and care is taken by the concerned authority in order to avoid errors and discrepancy in the result.
This is the reason that there is no provision for re-evaluation or rechecking of answer scripts. Therefore, no request related to revaluation of OMR-sheets will be entertained by the examining authorities at any level.

Post Result Activities
After the release of NTSE Result, qualified candidates will be recommended for national level exam. The stage 2 exam will be conducted by NCERT for all the shortlisted candidates. The final result will be prepared on the basis of combined scores of candidates in MAT and SAT test in the stage 2 exam. Marks of students in the stage 1 exam will not be considered for preparing final merit.
The final selection list and Marks secured by the candidates in stage two written examination will be revealed individually to all the candidates through NCERT website. On the basis of final merit list, disbursement of scholarship amount will be done to all the selected students of class 10th at the rate of Rs.1250/- per month.
- NTSE Karnataka Result 2020-21 scholarship stage 1 result has been announced in March 2021.
- Students can download the result from the KSEB portal.
- No result will be dispatched to candidates through post.
- The result sheet uploaded online shall be final and therefore no correspondence regarding the rechecking of answer sheets will not be entertained under any circumstances.
- Candidates qualifying stage 1 exam will be considered for national level exam conducted by NCERT.
- Candidates qualifying the national level exam will be finally selected and will be awarded with the scholarship at rate of Rs.1250/- per month.
- Funds will be transferred on annual basis to the selected students.
- All the students and their parents/ guardians are advised to stay in regular contact with the official website till the declaration of result for all the updates related to NTSE stage one exam.
