NMMS result is released separately by each state and union territory on the official website of the concerned department of the state/UT. The result is published in a PDF format that indicates the result status of the candidate with little other information related to the scholarship exam. The information that will be mentioned on result sheets include the candidate’s name, candidate’s roll number, category, father’s name of the candidate, date of birth, gender, Contact No., district code, school name, school code, category, total questions in SAT & MAT, Marks obtained in each paper, rank and related instructions.

NMMS Result class 8th for all States and UTs

SCERT or DGE of all States and Union Territories have started releasing NMMS results or the selection list will be released state-wise, candidates have to download it from the concerned website of the state. NMMS Rechecking and Re-evaluation of Result

NMMS Result will be updated online. The result list will include marks obtained by the candidates in each paper. As NMMS answer sheets undergo a rigorous checking procedure and thus the organizing authority does not allow re-checking and re-evaluation of answer sheets at any stage.  

Candidate’s request for re-checking or re-evaluation of answer sheets will not be entertained under any circumstances.

NMMS Cut-off Qualifying Marks

NMMS exam includes two papers i.e. SAT and MAT. Candidates have to score passing marks on each paper in order to qualify for the exam. Qualifying marks required in each paper by all the categories of the candidates are as follows-  

About NMMS

National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is a national-level scholarship scheme of the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India. It was launched in 2008 to award a scholarship to the meritorious students of the weaker section of society who drop studies at class VII.

NMMS Result 2022: Overview

The scheme is basically provided to encourage such students to continue their studies. Students of Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are not entitled to get the benefit of this scheme.

Students are selected on the basis of an examination that is conducted at the state level by the concerned state authority. The exam consists of two papers i.e. SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) and MAT (Mental Ability Test). Each paper includes 90 questions and 90 minutes are allotted to complete each paper.
