NBE FET Result 2023: The candidates who applied for fellowship programs at Fellow of National Board and appeared for the Fellowship Entrance Test held on 10 Feb 2023 are looking for their results. NBE FET Result 2023 Link

The National Board of Examination invited applications for exam for the Fellowship Entrance Test for certifications of fellowships offered by FNB. The exam is held for both Indian as well as international students. There are 17 sub-speciality courses that will be covered under the Fellowships offered by NBEMS for Indian students while only 9 for International students.

The candidates need to clear FET to be able to take training in these courses and get certificates accredited by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences. The exam is conducted on 10th Feb 2023.

FET 2023 Cut Off Marks

The Cut Off Marks for the examination of the Fellowship Entrance Test 2022 have been pre-notified by the NBE. The candidates are to score fixed marks in Theory Examination and Practical Examination in order to clear the test.
The Theory examination is of 100 marks. The candidates need to score at least 50% marks, that is, at least 50 marks so as to qualify for the Fellowship exam.
Moreover, a practical examination for 300 marks will also be conducted and the candidates should score at least 50% that is 150 marks in that too.
Additionally, then the total score out of 400 must exceed 200. Those who will be able to do so will be selected for the fellowship and training. The certification will nr however be provided on the basis of End Examination.

Check FET Merit List

The candidates who appear for the FET 2022 can check the result on the official portal, once declared. The candidates will have to check the pdf file of the merit list after the result declaration. The merit list will be separately released for each course type and for all the candidates who passed the exam. It will contain all the necessary information related to the result. The NBE FET Result will be arranged in an order of higher to lower rank. To download the Merit List for FET 2022, follow the steps given below:

1. Visit the portal of National Board of Examination at nbe.edu.in.
2. On the home page, tap on FET 2022.
3. The portal specifically designed to provide all the information about the NBE FET 2022 will finally open up.
4. On the home page of this new website, the candidates must check the “Results” section.
5. Check “Download Merit List File”. Click on the link attested to the notification.
6. The file will consequently open up in a new tab in form of a pdf file of the result.
7. The merit list will contain the examination roll number of all candidates, the marks scored out of 100 in the theory examination, marks scored out of 300 in practical examination, total marks scored out of 400, and the Status of the result as Pass, Fail or Qualified.
8. The candidates must look for their roll number in the merit lis in order to check the result.
9. Finally, the candidates can also download the result or print it based on the need.

FET 2022 Tie Breaker Criteria

The candidates who will score equal marks in all sections of a particular fellowship department will not be given equal ranks in the merit list since it will create a scope of confusion. The candidates will be arranged accordingly in case of a tie. the following tie-breaker will be used in order to solve the problem:

1. Students with the least number of wrong answers in the entire examination will secure a higher position in the merit list.
2. Students who will score more marks in the Practical Session of the examination will be placed at higher merit positions.
3. Students who answered lesser questions incorrectly will be successful in securing better rank out the tie cases.
4. If the tie sustains, the student with older age will be placed first.
5. However of the tie still remains applicable, the candidates who have previously scored higher marks in the professional MBBS exams will automatically get placed in a higher position.

Validity of NBE FET Result

The result for the examination will be valid only for the academic session 2022-23 for admission into fellowships of FNB or FNB-PD courses. The candidates must not use this scorecard for admission into any session other than 2022. The validity of this result is only a year.

The candidates can download the NBE FET 2022 scorecard as a result of the entrance exam. The scorecard will be the individual result of each candidate who applied for the exam. It will view various details about the candidate such as Name, Examination Roll Number, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Marks scored in Theory out of 100, Marks achieved in Practical Test out of 300 and additionally total marks scored out of 400.
