Indian Nave released the recruitment notification for unmarried male candidates for in Indian Navy as Sailors for AA and SSR. The total vacant posts for AA and SSR are 500 & 2200 respectively. The Computer Based Examination (CBT) for AA & SSR posts has been conducted from September 16 to September 21.
After the computer-based examination, the shortlisted candidates will face the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations. The final result of this complete recruitment process will be released in March 2020 (tentatively). Selected candidates will be on training for a particular period. During the training period the candidates will be eligible to get the stipend of Rs 14,600 per month. On completion of training the candidates will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix and they will get Rs 21,700-Rs 69,100 PM.

As we stated above that the recruitment process for Navy AA SSR includes CBT, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations. CBT exam has been conducted and now the shortlisted candidates will face other two rounds where their physical ability will be checked.
In PFT the candidates who have qualified the written test will perform following physical activities; 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat and 10 Push-ups. Candidate must be proficient in other physical activities such as swimming and others.
The candidates who will clear the PFT round will face the medical examination. The medical examination will be conducted in two phases. The candidates who will clear the first phase will have to report at INS Chilka for the second round of medical examination.
