Brief detail about MSBTE
Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) is an autonomous board of education in the state of Maharashtra under the administration of the Government of Maharashtra. Board basically works for the regulation of all the matters related to the Diploma level technical education in the state. MSBTE offers various Diploma, Post Diploma and Advanced Diploma Programmes in its various affiliated institutes.
MSBTE has four regional offices located in the Mumbai region, Pune region, Aurangabad region, and Nagpur region. Board’s major functions include designing the curriculum, and syllabus of all the diploma programs, providing affiliation, conducting entrance exams and semester exams, declaration of results and other important tasks.
MSBTE curriculum is divided into winter semesters and summer semesters. At the end of each session, Board conducts semester exams in all the affiliated diploma institutes and colleges. After the conduct of the exam, the board declares the result through online mode and issues a marks certificate/mark sheet to all the students passing the semester exam.

MSBTE Result Status 2024
The result status of the students enrolled on diploma programs in institutes affiliated with MSBTE will fall into the following categories-
- I DST (1st class with Distinction)- Students passing in all the course heads/ subjects and securing a minimum of 75% marks will fall under this category.
- I (1st Class)- Students passing all subjects and obtaining a minimum of 60% or more marks but less than 75% marks fall under this category.
- II (2nd Class)- Students passing all subjects and obtaining a minimum of 45% or more marks but less than 60% marks fall under this category.
- Pass (Pass class)- Students pass all subjects and obtain a minimum of 40% or more marks but less than 45% of marks fall under this category.
- ATKT (Allowed to Keep Term)- Candidates who will be awarded ATKT status will fall under this category.
- WFLS/WFLY (Withheld. Failed in Lower Semester/Year)- Students passing the final year/semester exams but failing in the lower/previous semesters will fall under this category.
- Fail- Candidates not able to secure minimum marks percentage for passing the exam will fall under this category.
After the declaration of results, students can apply for evaluation of the answer books of the latest semester exams in which they have appeared. They have to apply within the specified time. MSBTE also issue mark certificate or simply mark sheets after the declaration of online result to all the students who have qualified for the semester exam.
How to check MSBTE Diploma Exams Result 2024?

- Step 1- Students need to go to the official website of MSBTE first i.e. www.msbte.org.in.
- Step 2- On the homepage, they have to click on the “Examination” tab.
- Step 3- Now they have to select “Summer/Winter 2024 result”
- Step 4- Students will be taken to the external result link.
- Step 5- They have to enter the enrolment no or seat number and have to click the “Submit” button.
- Step 6- The result sheet will appear on the screen.
- Step 7- Students can check all the details and result status.
- Step 8- Lastly, they can download and take a printout of the result sheet for reference in future.
