King George Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow is one of the oldest and popular medical universities in India. University offers various courses and B.Sc. nursing is one of them. Admission to this 4-year course is made through an entrance test. For the academic session 2022-23 the entrance exam has been conducted. The result shall be released on the specified date and all those who have participated in the exam can check the result on the university website. In addition to the publication of the entrance test results on the university website, it will also be displayed on the notice board of the Office of CoE (Controller of Examination), of the university.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

KGMU B.Sc. Nursing Merit List
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores secured by the participants in the entrance exam. The admission committee will draw two merit lists i.e., category-wise merit and a combined merit list. Both merit lists are likely to be posted on the KGMU portal.
In case there is a tie between the marks of two or more candidates, then the following preference criteria will be used to determine the highest merit-
- Candidates with higher marks in Biology followed by Chemistry and Physics in the entrance test will be given preference in the merit and placed higher.
- Candidate older in age will be given preference.
- If tie is still not resolved then higher merit will be determined on the basis of alphabetical order of the names of the candidates.
Rechecking/ Scrutiny
The result is posted online so that all the candidates who are seeking admission to the KGMU B.Sc. nursing program can access it easily. There is no provision of rechecking of answer scripts of the candidates. University will also not intimate marks obtained by the candidates to them. However, candidates are permitted to apply for scrutiny, and for that, they have to pay a processing fee of Rs.1000/-. The application for scrutiny and payment of fee should be made within 48 hours of the result publication.
KGMU B.Sc. Nursing Counselling
After the publication of the result, university will start the counseling process for further admissions. Two rounds of counselling will be conducted for the allotment of seats. Only such candidates are eligible for counseling who have been shortlisted on the merit list. Candidates have to pay the required counseling fee and have to follow the instructions provided by the admission authority.
