Kerala NTSE Stage 1 Result: State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT), will be releasing the result for Kerala NTSE Stage 1 in the month of April. What is NTSE?
National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level scholarship exam conducted for identifying meritorious and talented students (class 10th) from various parts of the country.

NTSE 2021 is conducted in two-tiers – Stage 1 the exam is managed at the state level by all the States and UT’s and Stage 2 the exam is managed by NCERT on a national level. To get the benefit of this scholarship, student have to get through both the Exams. Stage 1 results are published at state level on the portals of concerned authorities and stage two exam is released at national level by NCERT.

NTSE result contains the name of the candidate, serial and roll number, group of the candidate, district,  marks obtained class-wise, marks obtained in Mental Ability Test (MAT), marks obtained in Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), total marks and qualifying quota. The cutoff scores are also released. If the name appears in the merit list that means students have been selected for Stage 2 (National Exam).

What to do after disclosing of results?

After qualifying for Stage 2 of the NTSE Exam students need to prepare more as it now becomes a national level exam and is handled by NCERT the main conducting body at the national level.

The Stage exam comprised of two exams divided into 2 segments: MAT and SAT. Stage 2 paper is divided in two sections- paper 1 is MAT (Mentally Ability Test) in which there will be 100 questions which are basically MCQs (Multiple Choice Question) carrying 1 mark each. Thus making it a paper of total 100 marks. Students are given 120 minutes to finish these questions. The second paper is associated with SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) which contains MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 1 marks each with total 100 numbers of questions resulting in the paper being of 100 marks. The time allotted will be the same as of paper 1 i.e. 120 minutes.
