JOSAA 2nd Round Seat Allocation Result 2020
Higher authorities will organize a total of 6 rounds for seat allocation and two mock seat allocation stages. Round 1st mock allotment result has displayed on 12th of October and result for 2nd mock allotment is also released on Oct 14th, 2020. Now, authorities have announced the result of 1st seat allotment on 17th October 2020. 2nd round result will be declared on 21st of Oct 2020. Seat Confirmation Fee for JoSAA 2020
Seat acceptance fee has decided by officials according to the category of applicants. After getting seats, candidates have to report at the allotted college and pay fee as per their category. In case, aspirants didn’t reach on the given schedule, then his/ her candidature will be cancelled by authorities.

Description of Float, Freeze, Slide Options
Here you will come to know about freeze, float, withdraw options that are described below.
Freeze- After getting seats, all those applicants who desire to accept it can choose “Freeze” option. After accepting seat, candidates will not be eligible to take part in other rounds of seat allotment.
Float- Applicants who are happy with allocates seat but, on the other hand, they want to participate in further round of counselling can select “Float” choice.
Slide- This option is for all those aspirants, who are convinced with the allotted seats, but at the same time, the admission is also open in higher preferred program at same college for him/ her.
Important Steps to Withdraw Seat
If any candidate wants to withdraw seat after paying the acceptance fee then he/she can do so. Higher authorities will refund the fee to that applicant and deduct 1500 Rupees from the seat acceptance payment. After the declaration of final round seat allotment, candidates can’t withdraw the seat. Check out the steps given below, showing how you can withdraw a seat.
Step 1st- Candidates have to open the link of official portal in any suitable web browser.
Step 2nd- Then, aspirants have to login with their credentials.
Step 3rd- Next, you have to insert the info of bank account from which fee of seat acceptance has to be paid.
