Make sure that you go through this section very carefully as we’ve mentioned the stages through which you can download your JKPSC Medical Officer result/scorecard:

Stage 1: Move to JKPSC’s main website (jkpsc.nic.in).
Stage 2: Under the drop-box of ‘Examination’, the option of ‘Result’ will be available, tick on that option.
Stage 3: The ‘Selections/results’ page will get open.
Stage 4: On that page, tick on ‘JKPSC Medical Officer result 2023’.
Stage 5: The pdf file of the result will automatically get open on your screen.
Stage 6: Go through all the details printed on the file and after getting fully satisfied download the file.

JKPSC Medical Officer Marking Strategy

As per the official notification, the JKPSC written exam will be of 02 hours having 100 questions under which for each wrong answer 1/4th mark will be deducted. If a candidate gives more than one answer to a particular question it will be treated as a wrong answer and if a question is left blank i.e. no answer is given by the candidate then there will be no penalty for that question.

All those applicants who appeared in the exam must secure their place by scoring the cut-off marks decided by the officials of the commission. If they are successful in securing their place then they’ll be called for further process by the officials. Factors affecting the JKPSC Medical Officer Cut-Off marks

There are numerous factors depending upon which the JKPSC Medical Officer Cut-Off marks will be prepared and some of those common factors are:

• Total number of vacancies.
• The difficulty level of the question paper.
• Tie-breaking criteria.

JKPSC Medical Officer Merit List

Along with the cut-off marks, the commission will prepare the merit list which will contain the names of those applicants who scored the highest marks in the large pool of other candidates. The merit list will contain names of the shortlisted candidates in descending order and it will be the authority’s decision whether they will post the merit list or not.

Tie-Breaker Condition

If a situation occurs where two or more candidates score the same marks then to resolve the situation, the following methods will be opted by the authorities:

• The applicant who is older in age will be given preference.
• If the tie still continues, then the candidate will be chosen from the alphabetic order of their name.
