JCECEB successfully conducted Para-Medical Entrance Competitive Examination (PMECE) exam on 16th July 2023. The computer-based entrance exam was conducted to select suitable students for admission to various paramedical courses offered at 60 paramedical institutions in the state. And after completing the same its result is uploaded individually for matric and intermediate level. A link to download the same is also shared here.
Jharkhand Paramedical Exam Result 2023
The answer keys are now available and candidates willing to challenge the same will be given an opportunity to raise objections against the answer keys within a given period of time. After the release of the final answer keys, Board will declare the entrance exam result on the scheduled date. The result will be published online. No individual results will be sent to candidates online or offline mode.

- Initially, candidates have to visit the official website i.e. jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Click on the “Results” link on the left side of the homepage.
- Select the Paramedical Entrance Competitive Examination option from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the roll number in the space provided. Click on the Search button.
- The entrance test result will finally appear on the screen.
- Check the result status.
- Download the result details.
Preparation of JCECEB PMECE Merit List
A standard merit list will be prepared by combining both the streams i.e., PCM and PCB and it will be known as the PCMB Merit list. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the Intermediate and Matric Syllabus.
For Intermediate Syllabus- In case of a tie between the marks of the candidates in the entrance test, merit will be determined by following the given criteria-
- Candidates with the highest marks in Physics will be given preference.
- If a tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in chemistry will be placed higher in merit.
- If tie is still there then-candidate older in age will be ranked higher.
- Merit will be determined on the basis of alphabetical order of the first name of the candidates.
For Matric Level Syllabus- The tie will be resolved by following the order of the criteria given below-
- Higher marks in Mathematics
- Higher marks in science
- Older candidates will be given a preference.
- Alphabetical order of the first name of the candidates
Jharkhand PMECE Post Result Process
Mere qualifying the exam will not ensure the candidate’s admission to the paramedical courses. They have to appear in the further admission procedure after the publication of the result. As per the information provided by the Board in the admission notice, candidates who will qualify the entrance test will have to appear in the Group Interview on the basis of merit.
The information about the conduct of the interview for admission will be notified through Board’s website and newspapers. For the latest updates related to Group interviews and further admission procedures, candidates must frequently visit the official website of the board.
Shortlisted candidates must ensure that they carry all the necessary documents at the time of the interview. These documents mainly include-
