Jharkhand GDS Result 2023 (2nd Supplementary List Out): Jharkhand GDS result for 2023 are now available. The result is available in the form of a pdf containing the list of applicants and their details. One who will be shortlisted has to appear for Document verification whose date and time will be announced separately. The Jharkhand Post GDS result pdf file will be available here. After the publication of Jharkhand GDS result, registered applicants will be able to download it from the Online Gramin Dak Sevak Engagement portal.

No hard copy of the result will be dispatched to any candidate. However, only selected candidates will receive an SMS and a physical communication on a selection from the recruiting authority. Selected candidates have to get their documents verified by the recruiting authority.

GDS result for Jharkhand postal circle are basically published as the selection list of the candidates. However, the names of the candidates are not printed in the merit list in the order of merit. The Gramin Dak Sevak result also indicates marks obtained by the candidates after the analysis of their application and marks in the qualifying exam.

Jharkhand GDS Result 2023 will be published only through online mode. Apart from this, an SMS and physical communication will be sent to candidates on their registered numbers and postal address. The result pdf will be indicating the names of the selected candidates with other information. All the particulars mentioned on the result pdf are as follows-

• Name of the selected candidates (not in the order of merit)
• Registration no.
• Name of the Division
• Name of the post
• Category of the candidate
• Head Office name (HO)
• Branch Office name (BO)
• Sub Office name (SO)
• Serial No.
• Marks percentage of the selected candidates

The personal details of the candidates such as name, category, marks, etc. will be based on details provided by them.

Jharkhand GDS Merit List 2023

Candidates will be selected for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) on the basis of auto-generated merit the candidates. Conducting authority has not conducted any selection exam for the recruitment of suitable candidates.

As per the selection policy of the Department of Post, Govt. of India, selection of the candidates for the post of GDS in the states will be done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in class 10^th. Only those applications will be considered for selection which will be complete and correctly filled.    

While preparing the Jharkhand Post circle GDS merit list only class 10^th marks will be considered. A higher education qualification mentioned on the application form will not be given weightage. Jharkhand GDS merit list link will be provided her.

In case two candidates obtain equal marks in SSC then a tiebreaker rule will be followed. The following tie-breaking rule will be considered for determining the merit-

• Age- Candidates older in age will be ranked higher
• ST candidate
• SC candidate
• OBC candidate
• Unreserved category candidate
• ST male
• SC Male
• OBC Male
• Unreserved Male   

Jharkhand Post GDS Document Verification

Once the result will be announced, selected candidates will be invited for document verification by the concerned recruiting agency. The further recruitment procedure will be conducted at the district level by the district recruiting agencies. Shortlisted candidates have to report to the verification centre for the purpose of verification of all the original documents on the scheduled date.

All the candidates are therefore advised to carry all the original documents/certificates to the verification venue. The intimation regarding DV will be sent to the eligible candidates by the concerned authority.

• SSC/Class 10^th mark sheet   
• SSC/High school pass Certificate  
• Date of birth certificate (if DOB not mentioned on SSC certificate)

• Certificate of disability for physically challenged candidates

How to Download Jharkhand GDS Result 2023?

Result will be uploaded online by the concerned authority and candidates have to access it from there. They can download the result/merit list by following the simple steps given below-

• Step I- Candidates have to start by opening the Online Gramin Dak Sevak Engagement portal of India Post.
• Step II- The Homepage of the portal will appear. On this webpage, candidates have to hit “Cycle 1” link given on the top left.
• Step II- Candidates will have a list of all the postal circles of India.
• Step III- From the list, candidates have to search for the “Jharkhand” postal circle.
• Step IV– Now, they have to click on “Results” link given in front of the Jharkhand postal circle.
• Step V- The result PDF will be downloaded.
• Step VI-  Open the result PDF and search for the name and marks obtained.
• Step VII- Keep the result PDF safe for further reference.
