Jharkhand B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam Result 2023
The entrance test result for both courses will be published on the same day and most probably in the form of a merit list. No individual scorecards/ result sheets will be delivered to candidates by post. Candidates have to access their results on JCEBCE official website. Only those candidates will be able to pass the exam who will secure minimum qualifying marks as fixed for admission to each course. For admission to B.Sc. courses selected candidates after the entrance test have to attend the interview round.

To check the merit list/ result, candidates have to use the steps mentioned below-
- Step 1- Go to the official website of JCECEB.
- Step 2- Move to the examination notice section on the homepage.
- Step 3- Click on B.Sc. Nursing entrance result link.
- Step 4- B.Sc. nursing result list will open.
- Step 5– Search for your name and result in the list.
- Step 6– Download the result sheet for further reference.
The result sheet will hold details such as the candidate’s name, application no., roll number, hall ticket no., date of birth, category, subject/ subject code, total marks obtained, total marks, etc.
Jharkhand NECE Merit List Preparation
The result is likely to be published in the form of a merit list. The merit is based on the marks secured by the examinees in the entrance test. A separate merit list will be prepared for both B.Sc. Nursing Basic and B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) courses. Check the merit list preparation criteria of both the programs mentioned here-
- For B.Sc. Nursing (Basic)-
Merit will be based on the candidate’s scores in the entrance exam. In addition to common merit, a category-wise merit list will also be prepared. The allotment of seats to the candidates will be done on Merit-cum-preference basis. If two candidates have equal marks then the merit will be determined on the basis of marks in Biology. The further tie will be resolved on the basis of marks in Chemistry. In case chemistry scores are also the same then the date of birth of the candidates will be considered. Candidates older in age will be considered first.
- For B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic)-
Merit for B.Sc. nursing (PB) will also be based on the marks of the candidates in the entrance test. A common merit list will be generated along with a category-wise merit list. Seat allotment will be based on Merit-cum-Preference and Priority Code basis. In case two or more candidates have equal marks in the entrance exam then the merit will be determined primarily on the basis of date of birth. The older candidate will be given preference. If the tie still persists then the merit will be calculated on the basis of the English alphabetical order of the names of the candidates.
Jharkhand B.Sc. Nursing Admission Process
After the release of the merit list, successful candidates have to appear in the Interview round. The board will publish institute-wise and category-wise seat details on its website. The notice regarding the conduct of the interview and seat details will be released only in online mode. Candidates must be ready with all their documents and testimonials to participate in the admission process. Candidates must stay in regular touch with JCECEB Portal for the latest admission updates.
