Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology (IERT) conducted the entrance examination for courses such as the Engineering diploma, management diploma, and post-diploma program in June and July 2023. And after appearing for it applicants are waiting for IERT result which is to be announced Soon. Once the IERT Result 2023 is announced it can be checked online at iertonline.in or it can also be checked from the IERT Notice Board.

The result will not guarantee admission to the candidates as it is based on the merit of the entrance exam as well as on other factors such as reservation policy, and verification of the candidate’s documents. Separate results will be published for all three programs. As the result dates are not known yet, candidates are advised to be watchful for the entrance examination result.

The result is likely to be released in the form of a merit list. It is supposed to indicate the following particulars in it-  

• Name of the shortlisted candidate
• Name of the course
• Registration No.  
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Category  
• Marks secured  
• Maximum marks
• Total marks
• Marks percentage
• Rank
• Instructions regarding admission/ counselling

IERT 2023 Counselling

Candidates who will pass the entrance exam will be shortlisted for the next procedure. For two courses, shortlisted candidates have to appear in the interview, and Engg./Tech diploma candidates have to participate in the counselling process.

All the shortlisted candidates will be issued an offer letter for attending an interview or counselling. An offer letter/ intimation letter is to be downloaded from the official website. It will also be released with the result. No offer letter will be delivered by post. The schedule for the examination will be communicated through the official website.

Documents required for Counselling

Once the candidates will be allotted seats in the counselling round, they have to produce all their documents and certificate for the purpose of verification. The list of documents (original plus 3 photocopies) is as follows-

• IERT Admit Card
• High School Certificate and mark sheet
• Certificate and marksheet of other qualifications, if any
• Character certificate issued by the principal/ head of the school/ institution last attended
• Caste/ category certificate issued by the competent authority
• Pension certificate, if applicable
• 12 copies of photograph (same as in application form)
• Income certificate
• Medical certificate
• Domicile certificate of U.P.
• Original Transfer Certificate (TC)
• Affidavit (in case of gap in qualification)
• Bank Draft for counselling fee
