IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2020
The selection process for the IBPS clerk exam will go through the prelims examination, mains examination, and interview.
Preliminary Exam: After applying successfully for the post candidates will be called to appear for a preliminary examination and in this, they need to qualify each of the section on an individual basis and need to secure the cut off marks as prescribed by the authority and on securing the same they will be called for mains examination.
Mains Exam: After qualifying IBPS clerk prelims exam candidates will be called to appear for the mains examination. The mains examination will be of 200 marks and in this candidates will be tested in 4 sections. The marks secured by the candidates in mains will be considered for the preparation of the final merit list.
Interview: Those who will qualify for the mains examination will be called for an interview. In this, applicants have to appear with all qualifying examination documents in original or as mentioned in the call letter.
IBPS Clerk Provisional Allotment
The total marks for the mains examination are 200 but for the provisional allotment, marks will be converted out of 100. To be shortlisted in the provisional allotment applicant need to be sufficiently high on the merit list.
If in case two or more candidates secure similar marks then the merit order of the candidates will place as per their Date of birth (senior candidates will be placed higher)
