Process to Download HP GDS Result Online
Registered applicants waiting for HP GDS result 2020 can download their result by following the given steps-
- Step I- Open Online Gramin Dak Sevak Engagement portal of India Post i.e. www.appost.in/gdsonline/Home.aspx first.
- Step II- Portal’s homepage will open.
- Step II- Check the list of all the postal circles given under “Cycle III” link.
- Step III- Search for “Himachal Pradesh” link in the list.
- Step IV- Now, hit the “Results” link provided corresponding to HP link.
- Step V- On clicking the result link, Result PDF will be downloaded.
- Step VI- Open the PDF file and search for name and other result details.
- Step VII- Keep the result PDF safe for further references.

HP postal circle result pdf will show the names of the candidates shortlisted for further admission procedure along with other information. Check the list of all the result particulars provided below-

HP Gramin Dak Sevak Merit List 2021
Selection of the suitable candidates for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) will done on the basis of an auto-generated HP GDS merit. No selection test was conducted by the authority. The merit list of the candidates will be based on the scrutiny and analysis of the applications submitted by the candidates.
On registered candidates whose application were accurate and completely filled be considered for preparation of HP post GDS merit list. The recruiting authorities will be selecting candidates on the basis of marks secured by them in class 10th/ SSC as per the selection policy of the Department of Post, Government of India.
In case, two candidates secure same marks in class 10th, then the given tie-breaking criteria will be used to determine the HP Cycle 2 GDS merit-
- Age criteria- candidates older in age will be given preference
- ST female
- SC female
- OBC female
- EWS female
- Unreserved (UR) female
- ST male
- SC Male
- OBC Male
- Unreserved Male
Candidates who have filled higher education details in the application form should note that they will not be getting any benefit or weightage of the same.
HP Cycle III GDS Post Result Activity
The selection process of GDS postal circles of India mainly include two processes viz.-
Scrutiny of applications to prepare merit and verification of documents. The result of first phase has been declared now the selected candidates have to go through the second round of selection. The provisionally selected candidates have to visit the respective center for the purpose of verification of original documents on the date and time specified to them.
After the declaration of result, the final selection of the eligible candidate will be made by the district recruiting authorities falling under the jurisdiction of HP postal circle. Mere receiving a SMS on selection will not imply that the candidates have been finally selected. Final selection of the candidates will be done only after the satisfactory verification of original documents by the recruiting authority.
Candidates should be present with the original copies of the following documents at the time of verification-
- SSC/Class 10th mark sheet
- SSC/High school pass Certificate
- Date of birth certificate (if DOB not mentioned on SSC certificate)
- Community/ Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS)
- Computer certificate (if required)
- Domicile of Himachal Pradesh state
- One photo Identity proof
- Printed copy of filled-in application form
- Other relevant documents
Candidates who will not attend the verification process will be eliminated from the selection round.
