GATE Result 2021| GATE Scorecard: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a national level entrance test. GATE result will be released on 22nd March 2021 on the GATE Online Application Website (GOAPs). GATE is a qualifying test for aspirants seeking admission in postgraduate programs like M.Tech, M.E, Direct P.hD in Indian Institute of higher education.
The result is available on candidate’s login. They can check it by visiting the GOAPs portal and using valid login details.
Update: Gate 2021 result will be out on 22nd March 2021.

GATE Result 2021
Qualified Candidates will be able to download their GATE score card 2021 online. No hard copy of GATE result will be issued to any of the candidates. GATE Result 2021 will tell the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/ Architecture/ Technology and postgraduate level subjects. It is a computer-based test which has 25 papers. IIT Madras is the conducting authority of GATE 2021.

Uses of GATE Result
GATE results provide various opportunities to the candidates. Candidates qualifying GATE exam have the following opportunities-
- GATE result or scorecard is used for recruitment in various PSUs such as BHEL, BSNL, NTPC etc.
- Some private sector companies also recruit on the basis of GATE score card.
- Candidate can get admission higher education programs (eg. M.Tech, M.E. Ph.D. etc.)
- Candidates can purse Research Fellowship (JRF) at IITs.
- Candidates also have an opportunity to avail scholarship/ assistantship for postgraduate programs.
How to Check GATE Result 2021?
GATE scorecard can be checked by following the given steps-
- Candidates first have to visit the official website of GATE-2021 i.e. https://appsgate.iitb.ac.in/
- Click on the GATE result tab.
- Fill in all the details asked like registration number/ application number, date of birth, password etc.
- Click on the login button.
- GATE 2021 result will appear on the screen.

GATE 2021 Cut Off
Eligibility of candidates to get admission in IIT or IIS will be decided on the basis of GATE 2021 cut-off marks and the final result is prepared on the basis of cut-off marks obtained by the candidates. GATE Cut-off marks varies stream-wise and category-wise.

GATE Scorecard 2021
The scorecard will be issued only to those candidates who will qualify the exam. Qualified candidates can download their result after the announcement of result from 22nd March 2021. GATE score card is valid for three years from the date of declaration of result. Scorecard basically shows the performance of the candidate in the qualifying exam by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, National Coordination Board (NCB)- GATE and Department of Higher Education.
Important Point Related To GATE Scorecard 2021
- Result for GATE 2021 will be announced only through online mode at GATE Online Application Website (GOAPS).
- Candidates must keep their registration number ready to check their result as it is required to log in the result page.
- GATE result is valid for three years from the date of release.
- GATE score will consist of qualifying marks, score, and All India Rank and after few days of the result, a scorecard will be released which only qualified candidates can check and download.
- Candidates can download their scorecard from 22nd March 2021. In case, a candidate wants to obtain his/her scorecard after the scheduled date, he/she can get the same by paying a fee of Rs. 500/- till the specified date.
- No hard copy of result or scorecard will be sent to any candidate.
The announcement of GATE Result 2021 will be followed by counseling, which will be conducted most likely in the month of April 2021.
