How to calculate CGPA?

Although CGPA i.e. Cumulative Grade Point Average of the student is already mentioned on the result, in case students wish to calculate it by their own they can also do it. They can calculate their CGPA as-

Candidates have to add the grade points of five subjects and divide the sum by 5.
Suppose-

A student has obtained the given marks in each subject-

Subject 1- 8
Subject 2- 9
Subject 3- 9
Subject 4- 9
Subject 5- 10

Step I- They have to add all the grade points-
8+9+9+9+10= 45
Step II- They have to divide the sum with 5
45/5= 9
It means the answer i.e. 9 is the CGPA of the student.

This is how one can calculate his/her CGPA
