Resolution of Ties-

While preparation of the merit list, if the two candidates secure equal marks then the following rule will be used for resolution of ties and to determine the merit-

• Candidate with older age will be given preference and placed higher in the merit list.
• If candidates have the same DOB and tie still persists then, candidates whose name comes first in English alphabetic order will be preferred.

Examinees can download their result by following the given procedure-

• Step 1- They have to visit the official website of BSF
• Step 2- On the homepage, they have to click on the Recruitment link.
• Step 3- They have to select the “Results” link from the dropdown menu.
• Step 4- Click on the relevant result link of the respective region given under the title “subject”.  
• Step 5- The result sheet will appear.

Post BSF Constable Tradesman Result Activities

Candidates qualifying the written test will be called for the third phase which is a Detailed Medical Examination (DME).   The details about DME has been mentioned on the result sheet. Candidates have to go through all the necessary information mentioned in the result of the DME process.

Admit card/ call letter will be sent to the shortlisted candidate through the post. The result and DME details will also be made available on the official website of the concerned recruiting agency of the candidates.
